IT HAD BEEN TWO DAYS SINCE REMESMEE WAS BORN. but her growth rate has kept the whole family on edge. Renesmee was growing to fast. We didn't know how much time we would had with her. Honestly it made me really worried.
I had grown fond of Renesmee, she was super adorable, and she was a very much happy baby. She didn't cry much.
I couldn't believe that I finally had a niece, well not blood-related, but still, it made me think of the fact that I...would never be able to have kids.
We were all in the living room where we Rosalie holding Renesmee.
As Bella and Edward walk into the house, the whole family are there with Renesmee, they turn to face Bella
"Welcome to the family." Esme told Bella as she walked through
"You look amazing, Bella." Alice exclaimed
"You look incredible." I smiled at her and she smiled back
"Someone's been waiting to meet you." Carlisle stated
"Rose." Edward called out to Rosalie
Rose is holding Renesmee, turns to face them, Bella finally sees Renesmee, who looks a few months old, Rose hands over Renesmee to Bella and Renesmee tenderly touches Bella's face, Bella starts seeing image of herself when she gave birth to Renesmee
"What was that?" Bella asked out of pure shock
"She showed you the first memory she has of you." Edward told his wife.
Jasper wraps his arm around my waist bring me closer towards him
"Showed me? How?" Bella asked
"How do I hear thoughts? How does Alice see the future? How does Delilah move things with her hands? She's gifted." Edward stated to his wife then looking at me
Bella notices how much older Renesmee looks for a new born baby
"I've only been out for two days?" Bella asked
"Her growth rate is unprecedented." Cassie stated to Bella
Bella is holding onto Renesmee, Jacob starts to act protectively.
"All right. That's enough experimenting for one day." Jacob says tying to get renesmee back from Bella grasp
"Jacob. She's doing great." Edward told Jacob
"Yeah. Let's not push it though." Jacob told Edward making Bella turn to Jacob with an angered look on her face
"What's your problem?" Bella asked Jacob
"Oh. Do tell her, jacob." Rosalie told Jacob.
"This should be good." Emmett stated with a smirk
Edward steps forward towards his wife who is still holding Renesmee
"Hold on a second."
Edward takes Renesmee from Bella
"Bella. Look, it's a wolf thing." Jacob stated to Bella
"What's a wolf thing?" Bella asked Jacob
I rolled my eyes knowing that Bella knows exactly what he's talking about. Jacob explained it to her before.
"Um... You know we have no control over it. We can't choose who it happens with. And it doesn't mean what you think, Bella. I promise." Jacob promised looking at Bella who was furious now
"Take Renesmee out of the room." Bella demanded
Bella starts to look angry, Edwards comes up behind her and touches her shoulder
"Edward, don't touch me right now. I don't want to hurt you." Bella told her husband
Edward takes his hand away, furious with Jacob, Bella grabs hold of him and throws him out of the house, we followed Bella and Jacob out of the house and the whole family was now standing outside on the porch
"You imprinted on my daughter?" Bella asked
"It wasn't my choice!" Jacob shouted
"She's a baby!"
"It's not like that. You think Edward would let me live if it was?" Jacob questioned Bella
"I'm still debating it." Edward told us leaning shading the railing
"I've held her once! One time, Jacob! And already you think that you have some moronic wolfy claim on her? She's mine!" Bella suddenly strikes Jacob hard in the face and Leah and Seth in their wolf form arrive on the scene
Leah growls
"It's fine, Leah." Jacob stated to Leah
"You're gonna stay away from her." Bella demanded
"You know I can't do that." Jacob told Bella
Bella punches Jacob hard in the stomach and he falls down
"Stop her, Edward." I stated to him
"He said it's fine. She's amazing, right?" Edward asked me
I stayed silent
"Do you remember how much you wanted to be around me 3 days ago? That's gone now, right?" Jacob asked Bella
"Long gone." Bella fired back
"Because it was her. From the beginning it was Nessie who wanted me there." Jacob told Bella
"Nessie? You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness monster?" Bella shouted at Jacob
As Bella moves towards Jacob in anger, Seth in his wolf form attacks her, but Bella pushes him aside easily and he hits the tree before falling to the ground in pain
I moved from Jasper and speed down the stairs and knell down to Seth who is on the ground.
"He'll be all right." I stated getting up from the ground and walking back to Jasper who looked down at me
Jacob turns to Bella again
"Bella, you know me better than anyone. All I want is for Ness..." Jacob cuts himself off
He sees Bella get angry at the mention of her nickname
"Renesmee to be safe. Happy. Look, nothing ever made sense before. You. Me. Any of it. And now I understand why. This was the reason." Jacob stated to Bella who now finally understands it all
