This new king and queen, known as Malakar and Lysandra, were beings of pure darkness, their hearts black with malice and their souls twisted with hatred. In a final, desperate gambit, the Dark King and Queen unleashed their most powerful magic, sacrificing themselves to create a barrier of light that repelled the darkness and sealed Malakar and Lysandra within the Abyss, trapping them for eternity.

As the dust settled and the battle came to an end, the forces of Veridia and its allies mourned the loss of their former enemies, knowing that they had fought bravely to protect their kingdoms. King Alaric, Prince Atreus, and Princess Monica, along with leaders from the other kingdoms, stood before their people to offer words of respect and remembrance for the Dark King and Queen.

Prince Atreus spoke of the battles they had fought and the lessons they had learned, acknowledging that their defeat had come at a great cost to both sides.
