Struggled grunts escaped the patient. Bonds held her down. Her heart pounded in panic. I was sad.
Click. Click. Snap
The bonds broke, but they were too close to run. She didn't want to be their patient anymore.
Screeeeeech
A chair pulled over. I watched numbly. She stood atop the chair.
The door knob twisted. Her eyes widened and she twisted her sheets around the fan.
"Hello Nancy." He greeted.
I looked at the doctor. "The chair tipped."
Silence...
A cold hand clasped my arm and I watched as the girl's head toppled sickly to the side, her neck broken. She gripped fiercely at my clothing, her mouth frozen in a permanent shriek. Blue tipped fingers bruised my arm. She tried to warn me, but fell quiet like all the other patients. But I was numb. After all, that's what the doctors were for. They kept the bad ones quiet.
