The smell of blood still lingers in the air as we push through the door of Sebs home, my hands are coated with it, the thick substance sinking in between the crevices of my nails, cracking and flaking off every time my hand flexes.

Seb had said nothing the whole drive back, his face lost to the throws of his past, and I let him sink deeper, knowing he needed the silence more than he needed the comfort.

A deep sigh escapes his throat as I close the door behind me and I lift my head to look at him, his gaze on me fully for the first time since we left that man to die.

"Come here."  His voice is rough with hidden emotion, hi dark eyes growing darker with every step I take closer before I'm in front of him, stopping centimeters from his body.

I tilt my head back slightly, looking up into his face.

His hand moves, curling around my jaw and cheek, finger delving into my blood-soaked strands, thumb beginning to stroke absently along my cheekbone.

I don't say anything, letting him bask in the silence for as long as he wishes as he stares at me, his gaze tracing my features almost reverently.

"Sebastian." I say softly, his name slipping from my lips unprompted.

His thumb strokes my cheek again and he brings his lips to mine, kissing me softly.

I tilt my head further into his hands, eyes fluttering closed, and I kiss him back, fist curling into his shirt with desperate need as a low heat begins to simmer in my core.

He doesn't deepen the kiss, content to sip at my lips, savoring the sensuality in which he's captured me.

He steps back and i let my eyes open, staring up into those dark eyes of his, seeing my own reflection mirrored in his gaze.

"You're beautiful."

I let the smile take over my face, reaching my hand up to delve into his hair and push his face close to mine once again as I hum against his lips, "So are you."

He chuckles, the sound slipping past my lips and sinking down my throat to settle in my chest. He kisses me again, smashing our lips together as if he is trying to tell me a secret without delivering the words.

"I'm dangerous for you." Is his only reply.

"And I, you."

His head moves back, and his eyes trace over my face, an emotion I can't decipher shuttering through his eyes.

"I should let you go, let you run, let you hide." He says and I furrow my brows and open my mouth, but he silences me with another kiss, "But I'm too selfish."

I look between his eyes, trying to figure out the meaning behind his melancholy before i open my mouth, letting the words slip though.

"It's okay to be selfish sometimes."

Sebastian doesn't reply, only moves his hand from my face to my fingers, curling his around mine and tugging me along behind him as he walks for the bathroom.

He pulls me in behind him, and I almost trip over my feet at the strength in the pull, and he shuts the door behind me before pushing me up against it, leaning down to kiss me once more.

"I need you." He finally says, his voice a throaty growl, "I need to see you."

His hands fall to my waist, curling into my shift before he pulls it over my head, and let's it fall to the ground.

I reach behind me, undoing the clasp on my bra before letting it slide down my arms to fall beside my shirt.

Sebastian sucks in a deep breath, his eyes roaming over my face before they dip to my chest. "I can't get enough of you."
