49 . blood brothers

Divon knights POV

I took steps towards my car , barely able to open my eyes due to heavy rain pouring ..... The thunder bolts kept hitting the ground with great force now

Something in me keeps pulling back , the monster inside me was failing to last any longer , the anger now replaced with guilt and regret ,
I couldn't turn to face that horrific scene behind , nor can I leave now

What have I done ?..... Is this what you call friendship ...... Where a person half kills another person just because of anger issues

He had always been there for me , hearing my wrath , keeping up with me , believing blindly on our friendship , he is one of the reason of existence of my sanity in this world

And this is what I did to him ?

I shivered like a kid scared to look back at his mistake , but the mistake isn't very innocent

I remembered his face filled with tears , blood , bruises and cuts

All because of me ,

I fisted my hands as I turned around
And met with dead looking man
Who once was my brother , a best and only friend , an important person of my life ,

The surfaces , area around his body was drained with blood , his eyes closed , his chest raising and falling

I have no idea if he is conscious now ,
The rain kept washing his soaked blood , making all his bruises , cuts , wounds , scratches clearer in view

My heart stopped as I saw his raising and falling chest slowed down , this is a nightmare

I screamed , as some hot liquid flew from my eyes , was that a tear , I couldn't feel a thing due to rain , I ignored the numb feeling , as I hurried up

What kind of asshole beats his friend to death , my conscience mocked a million times

I grabbed his body , lifting him off the ground , supporting his weight on my shoulder , he is heavy , all is Diana's cookies fault ,

I ran , I never ran like this ....

I slowly placed him in the backseat of my car , as I started the car ....

Doctors were rushing around to save austin , I looked at them in horror , seeing docs running across , scared all this is making me lose my hope of protecting austin

........

" Mr knights , he has lost huge amount of blood , and it might not be possible to get it now " the doc said as I stopped him to ask about Austin's condition

" Ah Austin and I share the same blood group , I am A positive , you can please take mine " I stressed them

" I am sorry but you ca...." I cut him off

" Please , please , just do it " they surrendered

Currently laying on the hospital bed , the other side was austin laying unconscious , they took my blood as they said it's enough ....

I just stared at austin , realising the damage I have done to him

It's not easy to stand infront of the person lying on the hospital bed , looking lifeless in a very critical condition , and you were the reason

I stared out of the window , observing the atmosphere outside

A lump formed in my throat as I gulped it down , I couldn't bring out to reply to him , one side of me is soo happy that he is conscious , another side is draining in sorrow , guilt , pain
