This Rajasthani wedding ritual is also known as Haldi Ceremony in which the bride and the groom are applied turmeric paste. In bride's house this ritual is very elaborative. Bride wears a orange traditional dress and it is brought under a silken canopy, which is held with the help of swords on the four corners by four ladies who must belong to same clan as the bride.
Haldi ceremony was conducted nicely and then Mehendi ceremony .I was nervous but now some what confident about my decision .
I washed my hand after hena dried from hands.The hena artist did great work on my hands and feets.After cleaning hands everyone asked me show my hands to them. " Wow " That what heard from everyone mouth . My mom said " Look how beautifully hena color is looking on my hands." to which my Bua my father's sister said Virat will love you alot Naina.Blused crept on my face and I signed in annoyance .Forget it he nd romance are like North and south pole of magnets.
Anyways I'm happy with designs craved on my hands.

I was sitting in my room when Mom came " We will be going earlier on the wedding venue today .As they have a ritual in which
Brides mother have to perform veneration to her would be son-in -law." I noded in yes and asked who will be left here to take me to the venue.Thou she said dad and Nakul will come back .She said my friends and cousin will be here with me.In elders Bau ji will be their.
My friends came to my room as I was feeling nervous .Finally the day came when my whole life will be changed.I have no control over this feeling of being alone in a strange house and with strangers.
How will I manage everything when Dad ,mom and Nakul will not be around me.Thou my mom gave me motivated speech every night still .Nikita and other gave me you know glares to not ruin my make up on mehandi and haldi ceremony .
They all took selfies with me and left me to doll up to be a beautiful bride.The makeup artists were here on every ceremony to doll me up and make  me look  beautiful and elegant on each event.
The Elderly lady asked me to wear my wedding dress before starting their work. It was a pink lehanga with heavy stone and embroidery work with a heavy duppatta.
I was caught in bewildered and enthralled by the beauty of my wedding outfit .
When I came out wearing it I couldn't believe myself .The girl in the mirror was far more beautiful , If I tried to touch her she might disappear .The makeup artist both gave me complements and started their work on my hairs and face.
They binded my hair in a tight bun and curled few strands of my hair in front and left them to fall free on my face.
They made me wear the heavy jewelry came from Rathore family which consist of a pair of earings , mangh tika,three necklaces which were interconnected , heavy anklets, Kamarband,Golden bangles and nose ring.

After what felt like eternity ,I was finally ready.Few minutes later a maid came and escorted the makeup artists with her.
Trisha came in my room and gave me a wink and said " Wow you looking breathing gorgeous .I feel like kidnapping you." to which I laughed .She is really very sweet.She told me that my friend's are already went to venue and bau ji is waiting down stairs.I was disappointed after listening that my friends left me because Nikita and other had never left my side .But today when I need them so much around me they are not present .But then I thought how selfish I am that who is thinking all negative about my friend's .
They also have right to enjoy after all it's my wedding .What if they were planning something to surprise me and smiled on this thought .Anyway I am gonna meet them in half and hour on the venue .Trisha helped me walk down the stairs . When I was on standing on last stair I recalled that forgot my purse and phone.I looked at the length of stair and to her.She smiled and said you wait in the car with bau ji I will get your belongings .Bauji came and made me seat on the back seat of the car and said she will be coming in few minutes .I sat quietly in the car but my heart was beating fast and playing odd strings of my heart.
My mind was full with thoughts that what will happen next.
Trish came running and gave me my phone and put a small suitcase with me. Seeing my dumbfounded expression ,She said it's contains some gifts which will be distributed among the elderly .I didn't questioned her and gave her a smile . As the back seat of my car was full and she said bridal dress need space .I nodded my head in affirmation and she continued .she said she will be arriving with bauji and went back to car which parked before our car.
The car roar back to life when the driver started the engine .I was looking out from the window on way to venue trees were swaying in air like they were dancing .Suddenly we lost the track of bau ji and Trisha's car .Fear crept on face as thought I was alone with a driver after few seconds ,driver phone rang and he picked up " wwhatt..... Now what should I do madam .. Bride will be late for the venue.............Okay I will take that road and I will inform you after reaching there." he disconnected the call and said as he was able to see my discomfort ." Madam , Trisha madam car is stuck in traffic and she asked me to take you from another route as you need to reach earlier there."
I was contemplating what to do next as my phone ran out of battery that when he said" madam Think fast we are getting late and Virat sir will surely kill me if we didn't reached on time."
I nodded my head in yes and the driver took the alternative route .I didn't knew how long we travelled but the car stopped abruptly and I took a hold of the front seat to save myself from crashing .
