When God sees you, He sees cities, countries and generations. The ways of God are often always bigger than ourselves. It is to impact the world.
God will always speak to you about what is bigger than yourself. When we hear from ourselves, the focus is turned from God to this world or what we desire. There isn't a kingdom focus but it's lowered. That's why like the first point, the words and messages of God are bigger than ourselves, not just us.
When God spoke to Abraham He spoke to Abraham not just about him having a child but about how the whole world would be blessed through his seed. When God speaks, often He speaks with more than you in mind. He speaks in broader wisdom, with a higher plan and with a great purpose. He will speak to you with not just your benefit in mind but a whole generation's benefit.
