CHAPTER 2: Moon Latte Lounge

My two-story café gives a charming simplicity that is complemented by an understated elegance. Its exterior boasts a classic facade designed with warmth and relaxing, that invites guests with a sense of lasting comfort.

Pagpasok sa unang palapag ay sasalubong ang isang maaliwalas na kapaligiran.

The ambiance is bathed in soft, diffused light that filters through large, strategically placed windows, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decors are a harmonious blend of muted pastels and earthy tones, lending a sense of tranquility to the space.

Sa kanang bahagi ay makikita ang isang magandang hagdang kahoy ang magdadala patungo sa ikalawang palapag, na kung saan dito ay mas tahimik. It's a perfect place for you and your bebe.char!

But yeah, Perfect for the customers who want a calm moment or conversation, or a deep talk with someone, The whole area is decorated with soft and comfortable chairs, low-hanging pendant lights that give a soft, ambient glow to the area.

The second-floor balcony offers a perfect view of the surroundings, allowing guests to enjoy their meals and having a conversation while taking in the sights of the neighborhood.

The balcony is also beautified with potted flowers and small  intimate seating arrangements, providing a serene environment of the city.

Nagulat ang mga emoleyado noong nakita ako dahil hindi nila inaasahan na maaga ako pupunta, mostly kasi mga 8 na ako pumapasok.

"Good morning ma'am napa-aga yata kayo ngayon" Masayang bati ni ate Lordes, ang naatasan sa may pinto.

"Oo ate, sa opisina muna ako" Sagot ko. Tumango ito kaya  pumasok na ako sa loob.

"Magandang umaga miss" Ngumiti ako at tinuro ang opisina ko, nakuha nya naman ang gusto kung ipahiwatig kay tumango ito

Pumasok ako sa opisina ko para iwan tong mga gamit ko.

By the way, I named this café "Moon latte lounge" This name commemorates the idea of my name Luna, meaning "moon" while also giving a nod to the cozy and inviting atmosphere of a coffee shop "Latte Lounge". It creates a whimsical and celestial ambiance that could be appealing to coffee lovers looking for a unique and memorable experience.

We serve different types of coffee such as espresso cappuccino, latte americano mocha and a lot more. We also serve milk tea, Cakes, sandwiches and pastries, just name it, we have it. Or visit my cafe for the menu.

Paglabas ko ay nakita ko ang dalawang pamilyar na studyanteng kumakain. Actually, familiar na nga sa akin ang ibang customers namin,  maybe because they enjoy the experience and keep coming back for more.

It's relaxing din kasi because, While they are having a meal, the right kind of music is playing at the same time, keeping them relaxed and the café looking tidy also encouraging my staff to be presentable.

I went to the kitchen to check what I needed to bake. As usual red velvet is one of our in great demand. I wore my pink apron and started to prepare the ingredients.

Naparami yata ang nagawa kung mixture pero okay lang. Im  confident naman na mauubus ang maba-bake ko ngayong araw. Magbabake ulit ako later for tomorrow.

6:30 am kami nagbubukas pero may mga customers na agad kami. Hindi naman kaaagad maluluto ang mga cakes kaya nagba-bake na kami ng hapon.  May storage kami dito for cakes dahil nagbabake kami  before umuwi at hindi naman sya masisira kaagad.

Pagkatapos ko sa kusina ay sa counter naman ako. Ako maglilista ng mga orders ng mga costumer.

Nagsusulat ako sa papel ng mapansin ko ang kakadating lang at nakatayo ngayon sa harap ko.

"What's your orde--------" Nabitin sa ere ang sasabihin ko nang mag angat ako ng ulo at nakita ko kung sino ang nasa harap ko. Kumabog ng mabilis ang aking puso ng magtama ang aming paningin, nakatingala ako sa kanya habang sya naman ay nakatayo pero deretso sa akin ang kanyang tingin.

Seconds later he cleared his throat that made me came back to my sense I awkwardly smile at him. I feel heat all over my face

"What's your order sir?" I said straight with a bit of a smile on my face. Mabuti nalang at hindi ako nautal.

"One order of espresso and red velvet" he coldly said. Tumango ako bago itinipa sa laptop ang order nya.

Ibinalik ko sa kanya ang aking tingin naghihintay kung may idadagdag oa sa order nya pero wala na akong narinig. Kunot noo akong tumingin sa likod nya, baka kasama nya jowabels nya.

"I'm not with someone if that's what you're thinking" He suddenly utters that and makes my eyes shift to him and nooded. Keeping the seriousness but Deep inside I feel happy, I'm satisfied.

"Okay, uhm, find your seat, we'll call you later sir" Ibinalik ko atensyon ko sa laptop at nakita ko sa peripheral vision ko ang pag-alis nya.

Bakit kaya hindi nya kasama ang girlfriend nya? E halos magkasama nga sila kahit saan eh. Huminga ako ng malalim at hinayaan nalang sya. Dahil wala na akong paki alam don.

Pagdating ng kape nya ay inayos ko na narin ang cake bago ipinatong sa tray. Hinanap ko sya gamit ang aking mata at agad ko syang nakiya, nakaupo ito sa gilid, nakatalikod sa glasswall at  nakaharap sya sa dereksyon ko.  nakaharap sa laptop nya at may pinipindot dito.Pinahatid ko nalang sa mga crew ang order nya.

Sometimes i cant help but to stare at his direction when i have a spare minute. Nagtatama pa nga ang mga mata namin kapag napapatagal ang pagtitig ko sa kanya, napapansin nya siguro na may tumitingin sa kanya kaya nag aangat sya ng ulo nya, at kapag mag aangat sya ng ulo ay deretso ang tingin sa akin.

Dumaan ang mga oras pero nandito parin sya, hanggang sa mag alas singko na pero hindi parin sya umaalis. Kunti nalang ang tao dito sa baba pero sa taas ay marami Parin. Tinawag ko ang isang staff at sya na muna sa counter dahil pupunta ako sa office ko. Nang makapasok ako ng office ay ibinagsak ko ang aking katawan sa swivel chair at pinikit ang mga mata. Ramdam konang pagod ko.

5:20 na nang lumabas ako ng office dahil uuwi na ako. Nadatnan ko na rin syang nag aayus ng gamit nya.

Nag paalam na muna ako sa mga staff bago lumabas. Pagkarating ko sa parking ay narinig ko pa syang may kausap pero nilagpasan ko nalang at sumakay sa kotse ko.
