CHAPTER 33: REVELATION

After our breakfast, I went here to the hospital to check on my cousin.

Naabutan ko si Red na nakaupo habang nakayuko pa sa  may couch na kaharap ng hospital bed ni Stella. Saka lang nya itinaas ang ulo nang makapasok ako maisara ko ang pinto, na para bang inaasahan nyang ako ang pumasok.  

"Hey" bati nito nang makapasok ako. Dark circles are visible underneath his eyes, and it looks puffy too.

"Morning couz, how is she?" I asked

"She's still unconscious.....I can't see any signs na malapit na syang magising" He answered. Naupo ako sa tabi nya humarap kami pareho sa kama kung saan nakalatay ang walang malay naming pinsan.

"I have something to tell you, couz." Panimula nya habang naka upo kaming dalawa sa mahabang sofa.

"Sure, what is it?"

"About Stella" Sagot nito. Nagtaka ako kung bakit? Anong meron sa pinsan namin?

Sa aming magpipinsan kasi ay si Stella at Red ang close talaga. Close naman kami pero hindi yong kagaya sa kanila. They are super close to the extent that they tell the deepest secrets to each other, they trust each other not the way they trust others, they are the best of friends. They grew up together in Paris kasi, that's why.

"Promise me you won't tell this to anyone, even her parents, and our other aunts and uncles" This is a deep secret, dahil hindi sya ganito kung mababawa lang ang sasabihin nya sa akin. Nakatingin lang ako sa seryuso nyang mukha. Hindi ako sumagot

"Luna? promise me" he repeated.

"yeah, yes, of course I promise" tumango tango ako.

"Stella....." Hinarap nya ang nakahigang pinsan namin bago  ako muling hinarap. "She's been here two months ago......." Hindi ako nagulat dahil nasabi na nila tita sa akin iyon.

"Why didn't she show up on my wedding day?" I asked with curiousity. It's the only question I have for her. She's here on the day of my wedding but I never saw her. She didn't even visit me after.

"She did but, she had reasons" Red answered.

"like what?" I asked again with my forehead creased.

"Listen to me first. okay? I'll explain" Huminga ito ng malalim bago nya  hinawakan magkabilang balikat ko.

"7 years ago, she got here for a vacation. Right?" Tumango ako bilang tugon. "She told me that she wanted to visit tourist spots here, around the Philippines with you and our other cousins." 

Oo mag isa nyang lumipad dito sa Pilipinas dahil gusto daw nyang ikotin ang tourist spots dito. Sa bahay sana sya tutuloy pero lahat ng mga tito at tita namin ay halos mag away na dahil  lahat sila ay gustong sa bahay nila pansamantalang  tumira  si Stella. Kaya para fair ay nagdesisyon si stella na manatili nalang sa bahay nila kahit mag isa lang nya. Hindi bale dahil nakatira lang naman kami sa isang subdivision at mag kalapit lang naman ang mga bahay namin. So we can visit her anytime and as well as her, she can visit us anytime.

"One time, she didn't tell you that she wanted to go to a bar, because you're still minor that time, she only invited Dara, because they are both of their legal age. Dara agreed, and.....you already know what happened next, right?" tumango ulit ako. By the way Dara is our cousin too.

Actually, I already have an Idea. Pumunta sila ng bar at nag party. Naglasing silang dalawa at dahil s kalasingan she can't control herself at doon nangyari ang hindi inaasahan? tho I'm not sure.  Kaya nakinig ulit ako sa kanya nang magpatuloy sya sa pagsasalita.
