With his sudden pull, Meerab crashed into his body and looked into his eyes with tears. She is unable to understand his mood right now. Murtasim pushed both of her hands behind her head and glared at her angrily. Meerab looked down when her eyes met his angry eyes, she felt guilty to be the reason for his anger. She knows she needs to tell him everything from her point of view to make her understand what she felt and what she is going through.

He was hurt by only one person but in her life, everybody hurt her. He was broken by her words but here everyone she trusted broke her trust. She has trust issues and she can't get over that. She can't believe that he changed her heart within a month. He was the guy she hated. How can she start liking him?

"I know that you love me. I always felt your love", Meerab said looking on the ground. Murtasim who held her hands initially left her realizing his action and stepped one step back creating distance between them. Meerab was initially feeling relaxed, even his angry voice didn't scare her and angered her but this distance hurt her. She can't rename this feeling of feeling unwanted again and the attraction she feels for him. He wiped her tears softly and asked

"Then how can you question me? How can I hate you? And I never hated you Meerab. I want to keep you happy and comfortable around me. I didn't realize when I lost my senses that day. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. That mere thought killed me Meerab. I can't forgive myself for that. I can't imagine hurting you ever", Murtasim said. Meerab nodded and took a step towards him and held his hand. Murtasim intertwined their fingers when she approached him and dragged her towards the rock. He made her sit on the rock and sat beside her. Meerab kept looking at him and watched his expressions carefully, how he reacted, and how he was showing his concern towards her.

"I hated myself for making you uncomfortable and kissing you like that. My tears were never fake Meerab. I...", Murtasim was explaining himself when Meerab placed her finger on his lips, and when he stopped saying, she leaned and placed her head on his shoulder. His heart skipped a beat when she placed her head on his shoulder. He felt his body freezing in its place finding her too close to him. His hand automatically found its way towards her waist slowly and he encircled his arm around her waist.

"That was a slip of the tongue Murtasim. I didn't mean anything. You never made me feel uncomfortable. Please don't say this. You are my home", she said. Murtasim smiled and looked towards her as her last line meant the world to him. His heartbeat increased and he started taking long breaths. He clenched his other hand into a fist and wondered what he should do next. He feels like he is the luckiest man in the world because she is near him. He placed his head on her head and kept looking at the lake until he heard her voice

"Say something. Why did you say that and why did you react like that?", Meerab asked to which Murtasim hummed in response and took a long breathe to continue

"I'm saying what I felt. I thought you regretted our moment and felt I forced you by using my tears. Jabardasti ka soch ke he meri rooh kaamp uthi thi. I couldn't forgive myself. I love you so much. You can't imagine the amount of love my eyes hold for you", Murtasim said while looking into her eyes lovingly. His eyes showed his concern and vulnerability which he went through when she accused him. Meerab felt his love and fear when he said that he couldn't forgive himself. She understood that his love was very pure and she felt lucky to marry someone who loved her a lot. She slowly moved her hand towards his and placed her hand softly on his
