"Don't ask me who I am;
I'm not sure that I know.
I want to hold on tight,
And yet I'm longing to let go.

Some say I'm sweet as candy,
Others swear I'm cold as stone.
I wish to dance among the crowds
Yet dream to be alone.

I dove, and flew, and dug down,
To escape the suffocating sound;
"Are you longing to be lost,
Just to see if you'll be found?"

And do I long to be alone
Just to see if I'll be missed?
Do I not fight my fears, in fear
Nothing else of me exists?

I suppose in an attempt to hide
My minds eternal cyclone,
I wore so many faces,
I forgot which was my own.

So please, don't ask me who I am,
For it has been so long suppressed,
I fear if I remove my mask,
I'll find there's nothing left"
