You were walking around the school premises, since it was break time. Jiwoo and Wooin were busy talking to each other and you felt like the oddball in the conversation. After giving the excuse of needing to go to the washroom, you walked out of the class, and onto your little adventure to the toilet.
After what felt like 10 minutes just standing in the washroom for no particular reason, you decided maybe it was time to head back. As you were walking back, you had passed what you recognised as Jisuk's classroom.
Though you weren't one for meddling in other people's business, you couldn't help but eavesdrop on the conversation the said boy was having, hiding yourself behind the door.
Whoever walked by you gave you looks but did nothing more. 'They probably think I'm weird...like I need their affirmation anyway tch,'
"Jisuk! When'd you come back? You should have told us!" You heard. For some reason that voice seemed to give you a sense of familiarity... but you couldn't identify the exact owner of the voice.
"Heard you were in a car accident! We were shocked! You had us worried." The same voice said, making you frown.
'you don't even sound worried...' you thought as you continued listening.
"Are you okay?" This time, another voice asked. Throughout this conversation, not once have you heard Jisuk's voice nor have you heard him reply to whoever was talking to him.
"Why didn't you answer our calls? Do you knoe how worried we were?" Once again the voice inquired. Your brows furrowed the moment you finally recognised the voice... how could you forget?
'...wait! it's those d!ckheads isn't it! Those guys who call themselves Jisuk's friends!'
Hesitantly, you slowly peeked from behind the door, ensuring you wouldn't get caught in the process. You were right. It was them indeed.
"Hey, Jisuk Yoo. It's been awhile. Are you just gonna ignore us?" The one sitting in front of Jisuk asked, at this point getting impatient that the boy had not said anything to them.
'Tch... worried my !ss.'
"Oh, sorry. My reflexes are a bit slow from the car accident. I'm fine now, but my phone broke so I couldn't answer you. This is actually my sister's phone..." Jisuk finally replied as he sighed. The boy stood up, dragging his chair loudly in the process.
The three boys seemed to have feigned their concern. To tell you the truth, they weren't doing a good job at it.
'They aren't good friends...but then again who am I to judge, neither am I...' you pondered, not noticing Jisuk was heading out the backdoor, where you were currently hiding behind.
