North Island, California was known as ground zero for those longing to become the best fighter pilots the Navy has ever seen. Getting in is one of the hardest things to achieve and once its official, the weeks spent at the station test the pilots limits and push them to the best of their ability. Coming out on top is the objective but only a few can manage to do so.
But coming back? Being asked to return? That's something no graduate ever imagines.
