This story contains character death, and Some Optimus x Bumblebee.
Ok that's it.

Btw this doesn't happen in the show Okie dokie.

Bumblebee was minding his own business drawing Optimus a picture while waiting for his return. He was told to stay and watch the base with Grapple and Hoist, but he found him distracted by drawing.

The drawing was very unique in ways that could make you ask how it was done.

Meanwhile with the rest of the Autobots:

Wheel: How are we going to get past him?
Optimus: We have to diverse a plan to get around Megatron so we can get to the energy source.
Jazz: So how are we supposed to do that Prime?

Later:

Jazz: TAKE COVER!

Everyone takes cover as the whole place blows up.

The Decepticons fly out of there like nothing had happened.
The Autobots survive, but are unsure on where Optimus Prime was.
Until Sideswipe and Sunstreaker found him.

Everyone ran to him and took him to Ratchet who was waiting with Skyfire, but it was too late...

Jazz: How are we going to explain to Grapple and Hoist?
Prowl: They'll recover. It's Bumblebee I'm worried about.
Wheel: Isn't he close to Prime?
Jazz: Yea, he'll never see us the same ever again.
Prowl: We have to tell him one way or another.

Later at the base:

Hoist: Thanks for telling us. He will be missed.
Grap: I'll make a model of him so we can remember him.

Everyone looks at eachother in sorrow knowing that their leader will never come back.

Until they hear Bumblebee running down the hallway.

Bee: Hey guys! Where's Optimus prime? I wanted to show him something.
Prowl: Bumblebee. Optimus is gone.
Bee: Wdym he's gone?
Sun: The building...
Side: It exploded, he was in there.
Bee: Exploded?
Hound: The whole place went "boom", and Optimus Prime died.
Bee: He.....died?....
Jazz shakes his head and Bumblebee started to tear up.
Bee: NO! Your lying!
Jazz: We're not Bumblebee. He's gone forever.
Bumblebee dropped the paper he was holding and ran away.

Jazz picks up the paper to see the drawing Bumblebee made for Optimus. It has both of them, and a big heart around them.

Jazz just sighed, and looked back at the others.

It would be a while before Bumblebee could recover from this, but they would try their best to help him.

Weeks later:

Bumblebee was still upset but he then recovered from the whole thing weeks went by until he realized all good things must come to an end, but he never gave up.
He ran to the Decepticon base and blew it up and walked away into the sunset knowing that it was all over.

Lol the end.
