"Heeseung!"

Heeseung abruptly opened his eyes upon hearing Sana's alarmed voice. He lazily stood up from the bed, hating the repeating sound of Sana's knocking from outside his room.

"What?" Heeseung asked as he struggle to turn the knob and unlock the door.

Just as the door open, he found Sana wearing her pajamas and her hair still in a mess, eyes tearing up, standing before him.

"Sunoo," Sana speaks, unable to continue her words as she began crying.

Heeseung started feeling nervous and his heart beats fast upon hearing the name, already expecting a bad news. He held a frantic Sana firm as they faced each other, his fiancee still bouncing on her toes, looking very alarmed and stressed.

"Hey," Heeseung speaks. "Calm down, deep breaths."

It was not the first time he has seen Sana acts like this. He has stayed beside her for too long he has seen how Sana acts whenever Sunoo gets in trouble. Although the siblings don't look like they're close, Heeseung knew how Sana cares for Sunoo.

She stood beside him after their father has taken them away from their Mom. She takes responsibility for many of Sunoo's punishments and the younger thought Sana hates him because of it. But Sana don't, she only distanced herself to Sunoo in an attempt to teach him how to be independent— until Heeseung came to their life.

Heeseung pulled Sana closer, embracing her inside his arms to calm her down.

"What happened?" Heeseung asked once Sana stopped sobbing in his chest.

"A police called me."

"Why?" Heeseung asked again, trying to sound calm but his thoughts where already filled with different ugly scenarios.

"Sunoo got in a fight, he's—" Sana hiccups. "He's in the precinct right now."

At least he's not in the hospital and badly hurt, Heeseung thought as he tightened his hold into Sana. But if Sunoo's in the precinct, their father would probably hear about it, that's the worst part.

And as they get ready to go to Sunoo, Heeseung didn't bother checking his vibrating phone on the bed- leaving 30 missed calls from Jake.

Jake couldn't help but worry as he checks if Sunoo is still waiting for him from the stairs of the police station.

"Here's your change," the cashier said as she placed a cent on the counter.

Jake took the cent and put it over a small box for donation, even though it's the last cent he has. He took the warm bottle of water and a canned coffee before he left the convenience store, running back to keep Sunoo company.

He handed the drunk male the water first, having it snatched in his hands followed by an eye roll from Sunoo.

Jake didn't know how Sunoo treats him like this so sudden. They were just fine the last week they have talked.

"Take me home before they get here," Sunoo said after drinking a few drops of water.

"I would also like that but I have no money left," Jake said. "Let's just wait who will come here first."

Jake sat beside Sunoo, making sure to give a huge spage between them. He got pushed away hard so many times already since he has found Sunoo inside the precinct. The younger boy didn't even thanked him after he bailed him out and begged the police officers to call Sana and Heeseung instead of Sunoo's father.
