The cameraman followed behind Qin Lu, aiming the camera at the trainee deep in thought.

Qin Lu's gaze paused between two doors.

The camera zoomed in on the song titles posted on the two doors, the first being "Gladiator," with a trap pop style, while the other leaned towards a light and cheerful "Summer Blue Sky."

The term "gladiator" literally refers to Roman fighters, but the lyrics of the song didn't directly relate to that. It was more of an intentional expression and stood out among the five songs, being both unique and challenging to handle.

The style of the song was very strong and had a powerful impact. If performed well, it could shine even brighter, with memorable moments. But if not executed properly, it could also leave a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons. The impact, positive or negative, was directly related to the performance.

On the other hand, "Summer Blue Sky" was about the innocence and joy of youth, with a light and refreshing melody. It belonged to the category of sweet songs, intertwining with the hopes and emotions unique to youth. Just hearing the song could evoke the buzzing of cicadas, the cool sea breeze brushing against the face, dispersing the heat of summer and the trivial worries of youth, and riding a bicycle towards a carefree horizon.

Many people thought Qin Lu would choose "Gladiator" to have a stronger stage presence, but he hesitated only briefly before making a decision. It seemed he had a clear preference from the start.

Qin Lu wanted to try different styles on each stage. The first stage performance with "Dia" leaned towards hip-hop pop, while the second one was a purely vocal interpretation, but the overall style was about breaking free from struggles and embracing a new life.

"Gladiator" leaned towards pouring out emotions, being straightforward and decisive, with clean and crisp dance moves and no unnecessary complexity, similar to the first performance of "Dia." "Summer Blue Sky," on the other hand, focused on enjoying youth to the fullest, with a direction that didn't overlap with previous stages.

He paused for a few seconds, then quickly made a decision and pushed open one of the practice room doors.

A piece of paper with the song title printed by the staff was posted on the door, and the cameraman immediately aimed the camera at it.

"Summer Blue Sky."

The practice room was empty. Qin Lu casually sat cross-legged on the clean wooden floor. After making eye contact with the cameraman, he subconsciously smiled.

The cameraman, who usually didn't smile while working, faced this smile head-on. Perhaps he now understood why some girls wanted to run laps when they saw a camera.

Qin Lu already had fair skin, and after days of staying indoors at the training base without much exposure to sunlight, he seemed to glow even more with a pale complexion. People with good bone structure tended to be more photogenic. Qin Lu was in a perfect balance, and when he sat down, the angle from above magnified the details of his features.

Delicate and gentle.

He perfectly matched the theme of "Summer Blue Sky," as seventeen was the most youthful and vibrant age. The cameraman silently sighed, feeling that he seemed naturally suited to appear in front of the camera.

The door closed under the guidance of the staff, and the cameraman didn't say a word. Qin Lu patiently waited for the next teammate to enter, wondering if any of his previous teammates would choose the same song.

He heard footsteps and the sound of the door opening. The next person to enter was still from the vocal group, choosing based on the order of vote counts. As no one had entered yet, one by one, people went to other practice rooms.
