Chapter 5: Enlistment

Y/n pov

I was on my way to the supermarket to get more food and a new fridge since Owen went ahead and decided to change his Grimm eating diet and eat regular food

Y/n: *Thoughts* I never knew his feral mode allowed him to fit a whole fucking fridge in his mouth

I walked in the supermarket and walked around trying to find a new fridge

Y/n: Hmm, interesting only 145 lien. Maybe I can get a membership dis-

*BANG*

People started paniking and screaming which caused whoever shot the gun to shoot more bullets. I went and hid in the storage closet and waited. After 2 minutes the screaming and shouting died down. I got out of the storage closet and heard someone talking

???: Alright, all of you are going to line up on the wall. Don't move or try to be a hero, we will shoot

All the people followed his instructions and lined up against the wall. Only then did I notice that there were other men with guns

Y/n: *Thoughts* Damn, a robbery. On a sunday too

I then noticed some of the men were a bit young and that their hands were trembling a bit. I got a little frustrated once I realised why

Y/n: *Thoughts* Damnit, they're just kids

Knowing I needed to do something I put my hood up and took out my bow since I there was a higher chance that I could kill them with a gun or blade

That and I forgot my Kukri at home

???: You 4 check for anyone else who might be hiding. I want everybody here NOW

The 4 nodded and split up to cover more ground

Bad idea

I went after the big one first. He didn't notice me until I slid under the table and kicked his leg, making him lose balance causing him to fall giving me the chance to knock his head on the ground making him unconscious

I then heard police sirens outside. I snuck a peek at the window and saw the Vale Police Department surrounding the whole supermarket

Y/n: *Thoughts* Well they're late

I then heard footsteps coming my way. I turned around and saw a corner mirror showing me the reflection of another kid coming around the next aisle. I moved over to the end of the aisle and waited for him to turn. When he did I pulled the gun out of his hands and pushed him onto the floor. He got up and went for a punch but I ducked and raised my elbow to his face alightly dazing him before I knocked him out as well with a swing of my bow. Then I heard a voice talk on his walkie talkie

???: What's the status, did you find anyone? Hello, anyone there? Report damnit!

I then heard the same voice over to the aisle on my left and right telling them to find out what's going on. I climbed up an aisle and waited for the 2 to find their unconscious friends

They found their friends on the ground and rushed to them. Before they could report in I jumped down and kicked one of them away making him slide over to a wall and hit his head knocking him out. I turned to the other kid and saw him running. I pulled back the string of my bow materializing an arrow and let go letting the arrow fly and pierce his jacket sleeve against a pillar. I walked over to the front to confront the leader, as I passed by the kid who was struggling to remove the arrow I slammed his head on the pillar making him go unconscious

Leader: Hello? ANYBODY COME IN?! Damn good for nothing teens. You know what, I'm kind of angry. So I'm gonna let it out...
