Once it was in my hand again I threw it to Connor who caught it and stabbed it in the heart of another Beowolf. Artemis pov
I stood on a hill, I stood by my sisters of the Hunt as well as a few Demigods. I looked back at my fellow Gods as they were barely holding their own against the enemy. I was on a knee, taking deep breaths as I had spent all of my energy on the battle I was in against one of the monsters we've stuggled to survive against. In an instant my father and sister landed beside me. They looked awful. Cuts, bruises, stab marks even. They were bloody all over, my sister had a broken arm, while my father's leg had been bent at a odd angle

I took their appearance in and noticed that they were shorter than most of our Demigods. Their hieght was compared to a one of my young Hunter's. Then they started speaking in that damn language, one that we did not know of. But the tone of their voices were disoriented, and their voice were not that of an adult either. Then my eyes widened in the sudden realization and horror of who, or what we were facing
