3rd pov
"Alright, let's go over this again."
Speeding down the road was an Atlas Van nearing the entrance of the Atlas base ahead of them
"Grey, you're driving the Van."
The Van came to a halt once it got the the booth with a guard waiting to confirm I.D.
"I.D.?" He asked
"There'll be a Guard confirming I.D."
The driver smirked, revealing a certain black haired boy
"Sure." He replied
He handed him the card which the Guard scanned
"A few more will check on the "delivery"."
Two more Guards opened the back of the Van, which revealed the body of a (H/c) haired teenage boy. Once a green light lit up above the gate it started to open. The Guard gave back the card to the driver before the driver continued on
The Base was basically a Ten story building with multiple other buildings around it. Not far from the base was a taller building overlooking the area
"Once we're in you'll park at the drop off point."
Parking behind with the Vans Grey exited the vehicle, wearing a fitted Atlas uniform. He opened the back of the Van and pulled out the body and placed him on an operating table, while sneakily placing a duffle bag underneath
"You'll make your way to the elevator and take it to the laboratory."
Pushing him inside he made multiple turns until he reached an elevator. Once in, he pushed the button to the laboratory and the doors closed. Grey then quickly removed his uniform which revealed a scientist clothing. He wrapped the other uniform in a small ball before throwing it under the table
The elevator then viewed an enormous lab with bodies in test capsules and scientists checking on the bodies or making sure everything was running smoothly. Grey could only stare at the scene with a blank expression, but his eyes told a different story. They held anger and disgust
"They're cheating Death and playing God, this is unacceptable." Grey thought
His eyes then focused on the lifeless bodies
"Soon, you'll be at peace again. Just wait for us." Grey thought somberly
The elevator then passed the floor of the laboratory and continued further down, confusing the boy. The body on the tarp then shot up, revealing it to be Y/n with confused expression. He shook it off however and continued to get off the table and grabbed the duffle bag underneath before placing it on top of the table
"Guess the lab goes farther down. We just have to find Harper." Y/n confirmed
Grey nodded. Y/n unzipped the bag, revealing weapons. Both of them grabbed their gear and proceeded to ready up. As Y/n was strapping his Kukri to his sheath he saw Grey pause and stare behind him, his eyes widened
"What?" Y/n asked before turning around
The elevator window showed a clear view of the underground horror they stared upon. It was a cave, it was massive, it looked endless, scientists walking along catwalks as a green substance covered the floor of the chasm. This wasn't what had caught their focus though
It was the rows and columns of lifeless bodies being hung like wet clothes on a rope left outside to dry. The bodies continued on as far at the boy's vision would allow them to see
