Chapter 9: Teaching

Y/n pov

I woke up early to see my classroom, and to be honest, it was perfect. The room looked like Goodwitchs' class, but this one had a much larger fighing area. It was a great chance to try out the new invention I got from my "Family friend"

I took out a small pyramid shaped device and threw it to the center of the cealing. It stuck to it and opened, I went to my desk and grabbed the control tablet. I pressed "Habitat" and chose "Forest". The device then started to project a forest like area. I then pressed "Creature" and scrolled through the list. I chose "Wendigo" and a projection of a Wendigo appeared. I looked back at my scroll and saw "Initiate Simulation", I pressed it and and walked into the arena

The Wendigo started to attack me, but I spun around it and cut its head off, then Wendigo then started to disintegrate. I felt my scroll vibrate and saw a text message

T: Does it work?

Y/n: Like a charm

T: Great to know, oh and that I'm almost done with your new "Upgrades"

Y/n: Good to know, Thanks

T: Anytime

I was about to put it away until I got another text

T: By the way kid, Nancy would be proud

I had a small smile on my face. She was always proud, even at my worst moments. Looking at the time I saw that the students would be waking up soon. I went back to the dorm and saw Connor already awake and in his outfit except he didn't have his mask on

Connor: So, first day of teaching. How do you feel?

Y/n: Tired, let's get this over with, c'mon Owen

We got out of class and I walked to the classroom while Connor went the other way

Connor: Imma just grab a quick bite

Y/n: Ok, take Owen with you, don't be seen and don't be late

Connor: Y/n...

Y/n: Yeah?

Connor: You read the transcripts, you know who is in your class, right?

Y/n: ...I know

I started walking to class, when I got there I sat on the desk waiting for the students

Shay pov

Goodwitch: Shay why are you here? I thought you didn't want to become a hunter?

Shay: Oh I'm visiting a friend, aren't you supposed to be in class right now?

Goodwitch: Well all of the teachers wanted to see how the new instructor is going to teach

Shay: Well since we're early, maybe you can introduce yourself properly

Goodwitch: Wait, what about you?

Before I could answer we both reached the class and I saw Y/n sitting on his desk with a wolf right next to him. I was a little amazed and shocked, Y/n told me he had a wolf, but I never thought it was that big

Y/n: Morning Miss Goodwitch

Goodwitch: Likewise Apex, this is-

Y/n: Your son, Shay Goodwitch

Goodwitch: Wait, how did you kn-

Shay: Mom, this is the friend I'm visiting

Goodwitch: Friend? But you just met!
