As my alarm goes on, I try to open my eyes slowly. By the time I'm completely awake and in my senses, I remember that it's my birthday today.

One that will be started without any of my loved ones being near me..
Neither my Maa, nor Bunny nor Gracy.

"Diiiii.... "
I suddenly hear Bunny's voice calling me.

Duhhh..
I must be imaginating things.

" Mayaaa...!! "
I now hear Gracy calling my name even louder.

Wasting no more time, I run out of my room to verify whether my doubts are true or not.

And I'm dazed actually seeing Gracy and Bunny standing downstairs along with Roman and Nicholas.

As I walk down the stairs, they start singing Happy Birthday for me as the house staff joins them as well making me smile brightly at them while Nicholas just stands there silently looking at in my direction.

I thank them all for this as I get close to them. Bunny then pulls me down making me go on my knees as Gracy gives him a small gift wrapped box which he proudly puts in front of me and says ;

" Your gifff Dii..!!! "

" Really...
Thank you Baby...!! "
Comes automatically out of my mouth.

I excited open it despite knowing what's in it and upon confirming that I say ;

" Wow....!!!
You got me new rings..!! "
I exclaim all happily as I try them.

From the time that Bunny had heard that I like wearing rings, he has been gifting me different sets of rings.

Happy with my reaction he hugs me and kisses me on the nose. Then moves to his big B.
Getting up from my place, I look at Gracy and say while showing the rings ;
" Thanks Gracy..
They are very beautiful..!! "

" C'mon Maya..
I just helped our little boy to choose it..!!
Happy Birthday Maya..!! "
She replies as she hugs me.

" I know...
You've been doing this since last year...
But how come you are here so early..?? "
I ask.

" Yesterday Roman planned this when we told him that we were shopping together..!!
That's how we are here..!! "
Comes her answer.

Turning toward my new brother, I say ;
" Thank you Roman..
This means a lot...
I was actually missing them when I woke up..!!
You're a sweetheart..!! "

" C'mon Maya...
You're my sister..
It's natural that I'll do this..!!
I had already told you... It's very rare that I get used to and open to people. But you three.. It's like I've just known you forever.. That's why I'm trying.. Just like you're trying to adapt with us.!! "
