When Oscar and I had gotten back from the boardwalk, he decided on starting dinner.

"I hope you don't mind shrimp tacos amor. Since it's getting late, I figured tomorrow morning, we can go to the beach instead " He said as he opened the fridge.

"Not at all my love. And alright, that sounds like fun. I'm excited" I replied while kissing his cheek.

"I hope you're not too hungry because I wanted to make the tortillas from scratch." He said as he placed the ingredients on the counter top.

"Oh wow. Can you teach me? I've always wanted to learn." I replied.

Oscar cracked a smile and nodded.

"Of course bebe. I'll be happy to teach you" he said.

We sorted out all of our ingredients and he began showing me how to make them.

"Here nena, mix it together." He said.

I grabbed the fork and he took it away from me.

"Use your hands babe." He laughed.

I took my hands and started to try and mix everything together.

"Bebe, its more like this..." He said as he stood behind me.

He reached his arms over and started mixing. I watched him intently but I couldn't help myself from noticing the way the muscles in his arm flexed.

"You want to make sure everything is mixed in properly," he continued.

"I see what you mean" I replied as I began mixing again.

"Good job. You're gonna be a pro now." He laughed.

After we finished the tortillas, Oscar went out back to put the shrimp on the grill. Just watching him set everything up made me realize how lucky I was to be with him. He was a package deal. Sweet, handsome, knows how to cook, smells good and he was definitely a generous lover.

I gave him a hand in finishing cooking and we finally sat down to eat.

"These are delicious babe." I said after taking a bite.

"Thank you nena, but it's all thanks to you and your help" I replied.

After we finished eating, I did the dishes and put everything away.

Oscar was sitting outside smoking so I decided to give him some space. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and changed into my sleeping shorts and tank top and then joined him outside.

"Bebe, I was just thinking about you, come, lets sit by the water" he said as he held my hand.

We walked to the water and sat on the edge.

"What's on your mind?" I asked.

"Just life. Wondering what our future will be like." He answered as he passed me the blunt.

"Im curious now. What's your idea of our future" i asked.

He looked down at the water and smiled. I could tell he was nervous.

"Come on babe. Don't be nervous. You always look down when you're unsure about what you want to say." I laughed.

He looked at me and let out a chuckle.

"Don't judge me okay?" He softly said.

"I would never" I replied.

"Well I was imagining us in a house like this, maybe smaller, but living in a house with a little us running around with the dog, and one on the way. Getting up early to go to work and kissing our kid, you and your belly goodbye. I don't know. Maybe its just the area we're in that has me thinking I could have something like this too." He said.
