"Dad could you drop me off at school? Ben left early for practice"
Dad rushed in, pecking my cheeks
"I would love to honey, but your mom and I are already running late and we go the opposite direction"
He said shoving documents in his bag looking like a hot mess. Mom looked worse
I chewed the inside of my mouth. If I had to walk, I would definitely be late for school.
"Just take the old car" my Dad suggested almost out the door
I rolled my eyes.
"Ha ha like i know how to drive one"
I took my bag pack and head out. Taking fewer steps
I listened to Clinton Kane "hopeless" strolling like time and I were best buds
"Honk honk"
I didn't look back
"Honk honk"
I kept walking till a car pulled up in front of me.
I stared at the familiar car waiting for my interrupter to appear
And there she was in all her glory, moving elegantly towards me. It was as if my brain decided to reset itself.
I couldn't take my eyes off her as she came closer.
"Hey" she smiled nervously
I wanted to bring up last nights text but I decided against it
I kept staring like an idiot
She chuckled
"Alright get it, we don't want to be late"
She said sweetly. And just like that, without a word, I entered like I was under a spell.
"Wait let me help you with that" she offered to help with the seat belt cause my brain was practically fried right now, and I was struggling with something as simple as wearing a seat belt
She came close to me taking the belt from me, brushing her fingers slightly with mine.
I could smell her perfume. This was torture. Her neck looks so inviting.
Ava snap out of it, you're not a vampire.
"Alright, done"
She looked up, catching me staring. I averted my gaze clearing my throat.
"Is it comfortable like this?" She asked still so close to me
"Yes it is" my voice came out in a rasps
Lord why me
I cleared my throat slightly embarrassed.
"Yes it is" I repeated ( that sounds better)
She chuckled. Gosh I feel so silly
When we got to school we were still few minutes early.
"Thanks for the ride" I muttered about to leave. But she stopped me, holding my hand.
She removed it quickly when she saw I was staring at her hand on mine
"Sorry" she said shyly
Oh now she's shy?
"I em, I just wanted to clear the air, the em, the last text wasn't intended, it was a mistake ok. So em, yeah I didn't mean it, I don't even know how I sent that. I think my phone was hacked or something"
She kept rambling but I lost her at 'mistake'
I smirked at my evil thought, deciding to be devious
I placed my finger on her lips
"Shuush" I smirked
"I know you don't mean that. It definitely wasn't a mistake"
She looked taken aback by my sudden action.
"Or don't you find me attractive enough" i whispered, staring at those green eyes. Where did this confidence come from?
I brought my face closer to hers.
She was getting red.
I resisted the urge to laugh. This is bad. I should stop.
I notice her gaze dropped from my eyes to my lips.
With out noticing, I bit my bottom lip
Her face was getting closer to mine.
My heart was beating fast
"See you in class All"
Was all I said before technically fleeing with the biggest smile on my face

Romance"You know that I'm dying and you still want this?" I asked confused. She walked slowly to me, never taking her eyes off me. Like two piece of magnet coming together, I couldn't pull away. Resting her forehead on mine, she finally spoke "I love you"
