SIENNA

Adonis. My love. My husband. He meant everything to me.
And me? I was his lucky charm.. I could give you a million stories about us. But no page could ever be enough.

We met at one of his games.

I was still in university, but I couldn't believe my luck when I found out that my favorite soccer team was going to be playing in my city. I had been a fan of Adonis, their star player, for years, and I couldn't wait to see him play in person.

As I made my way to my seat, I couldn't help but feel excited. Finally, I would get to see Adonis up close and personal. As I settled into my seat, I noticed him warming up on the field. He looked even more incredible in person than he did on TV.

As the game began, I couldn't take my eyes off Adonis. He moved with grace and power, and I found myself completely mesmerized by his every move. I cheered loudly every time he made a play and screamed at the top of my lungs when he scored a goal.

After the game, I made my way down to the field to see if I could catch a glimpse of Adonis. To my surprise, he actually noticed me.

"Oh my god, it's you." I said, almost breathless.

"You must be a fan." He smiled.

"Y-yeah. I came for an autograph but I didn't bring anything."

Before I knew it, he had taken off his jersey and handed it to me. I couldn't believe it - I was holding the shirt of Adonis Romano.

"You're giving this to me?" I asked with my eyes swelling up with tears.

My dad and I would talk about this day. Going to a game together, but he passed before that could happen.

He noticed my tears, and his expression softened.

"I'd hug you, but I'm sweaty." He said to me, but I hugged him anyway.

He wrapped his arms around me, and it felt amazing. I felt so safe in the arms of a stranger.

From that moment on, I made it a point to attend every one of Adonis's games when he came to my city. I sat in the same seat every time, hoping that I would catch his eye once again.

He posted about me on Instagram a couple of times calling me his super fan.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Adonis approached me after a game and asked me out on a date.

"So is that a yes?" He asked.

I grinned. "It's a fuck yes." I said jokingly.

I was over the moon with happiness.

As Adonis and I continued dating, our bond grew stronger with each passing day. We shared our passions, our fears, and our dreams, and I couldn't imagine my life without him.

One unforgettable moment happened after Adonis won a crucial game with a winning goal. The stadium erupted with cheers and screams, and Adonis ran towards me with a huge smile on his face.

He swept me up into his arms, and I felt weightless. He kissed me deeply, and I could feel the passion and love that he had for me radiating through his body. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back with equal intensity.

"I'm so proud of you." I whispered.

As he placed me back on my feet, Adonis looked into my eyes and said, "I couldn't have done it without you. You're my lucky charm." I smiled and felt my heart swell with love.

From that day on, we were inseparable. We traveled to new places together, tried new experiences, and made unforgettable memories. Adonis always made me feel cherished, loved, and supported every step of the way.

As our love grew, we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. And on a beautiful day, Adonis got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever.

Tears streamed down my face as I said yes, and Adonis slipped a stunning ring onto my finger. We kissed, and I knew that I was the luckiest woman in the world to have found my soulmate.

As we stood at the altar, surrounded by our loved ones, I knew that I was about to embark on the most incredible journey of my life. I take Adonis's hand, and we exchange vows, promising to love and cherish each other for all eternity.

As we kiss, I know that I have found my true love, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Adonis by my side.

We did a long-distance relationship sometimes because of me studying fashion and him traveling, but I always made it there on game day.

I never once missed a game.

What left a mark on my heart was the night before Adonis had to leave

I remember the argument so vividly, as if it happened just yesterday. Adonis had come home and was in a foul mood. He was snapping at everything I said, and I couldn't take it anymore. I tried to calm him down, but he just kept getting angrier and angrier.

We argued for what felt like hours, but it was probably only a few minutes. I was so frustrated that I blurted out the words that I never thought I would say. "God I fucking hate you." I yelled at him.

He looked shocked and hurt, and I immediately regretted my words. But it was too late. He stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind him. By the time he got back home, I was already asleep

He left me a text message that I still have up to this day. "Hey, lucky charm. I know you're still mad at me, but I'll call you when I land. I'm sorry about last night I can't stand you being mad at me. Keep me updated about the baby. I love you."

I felt like a jerk for not responding to that message and for ever saying I hate you to him.

The next day, I received the news that Adonis had been in a plane crash. My heart sank, and I felt like the world had just stopped spinning. The grief and pain were unbearable, and I couldn't believe that he was gone. They searched for his body, but they never found it.

I was devastated. Adonis was my everything, and now he was gone. I cried for days, unable to eat or sleep. The pain was too much to bear. And then, something unexpected happened. I went into early labor with our daughter, Kaia.

It was a difficult labor, but Kaia was born. Holding her in my arms, I felt a glimmer of hope, a sense of new beginnings. Adonis may be gone, but we had a piece of him with us. I knew that he would have been so proud of our little girl.

The loss of Adonis was something that I would never fully recover from.

I miss him more than I could ever realize.
