well maybe some of you can help me (or suffer with me)
so
gender
it confuses me so much
like
wouldn't everyone be happier if we just had one kind of pronouns?
like only they/them
i mean
i probably would
and everyone could just really present as they want
gender as we have it now wouldn't exist anymore
everyone could look anyway they want without it being tied to "female" or "male"
no discrimination because of gender
no colour coding your babies so everyone knows what kind of genetalia they have
GENDER IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT
and ye
i'm okay with my she/her pronouns at the moment
but also they/them seems... interesting?
(to be honest i'd actually love to just be an immortal, genderless entity)
i'm so confused
and i should be sleeping rn
but i can't
because of this
can we just
delete the construct of gender?
