so, idk much about the story of valentines day (but theres probably something right?)
But
anyone else familiar with this?
bc my dad insists, valentines day was invented by the flower industry to sell more flowers
and ive heard the same with like,, the chocolate and praliné industry?
and it makes sense, right?
like, you can just be nice to your partner any other day of the year (thats the whole point isnt it)?
so why choose a day where u get them flowers and chocolate specifically?
like,,, seems suspicious
the only one really profiting from it are those industries, right?
but i could be wrong, there could be a long historical reason to it idk
