It was Tuesday, around the morning time when Lani woke up first.
Her eyes fluttered open, blinking slowly as she slowly started to wake up.
Lani sat up a little but not too much because of Kai's arm wrapped around her, his body close to hers as he slept.
The urge to relieve herself became apparent, making her start to move around. She grabbed his hand, trying to peel it off of her hearing him breathe heavily.
"Bae what is you doin?" He grumbled, annoyed from being woken up.
"I have to pee, watch out." Lani replied, laughing when she heard him suck his teeth before he let her go, laying on his back now.
"Nasty ass attitude, boy it's time to wake up anyways." She mushed his head and stood up, pulling at her boy shorts since they scrunched up.
His eyes opened slowly, looking at her before looking at his phone checking the time.
"It's dumb early you always tryna wake up at the crack of dawn and shit." He huffed, hearing her laugh.
"Mhm, get up." She threw over her shoulder as she walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
Soon as he heard the door shut he put his phone down and placed his hand inside of his boxers and started to drift back to sleep.
Lani came back out a few minutes later after finishing doing her morning routine, coming back out to the bed seeing Kai knocked out again.
She rolled her eyes, making her way back to the bed and laid back down but didn't go back to sleep, she grabbed her phone and took it off the charger, unlocking it.
Checking her messages, she was replying back to them all before she went on her social media apps to check them, and see her engagements.
Lani had her social media apps muted because she receives so many notifications it used to freeze her phone a lot, so when she checked it her eyes went wide at the huge flood of notifications she was receiving, especially on TikTok.
Her getting a lot of notifications weren't uncommon, but it was never like this.
The notifications, the comments the likes, the reposts were moving at such a rapid pace, like one she'd never seen before.
Looking at the notifications she saw one of her videos went viral, it just was a video of her singing a song but that wasn't what caught her eye.
It was the fact that it was Kai's song, and there were over 5,000 comments asking what song it was.
