Hours had passed as the slow Wednesday quickly picked up, with drama brewing from both sides.

And it seemed that the drama had yet to die down, as Maya and her grandmother Cecile just step foot into the precinct, looking for two certain officers.

Detectives Carter Blake and Olivia Torres.

About a week ago, the two tried to go to her grandmothers house to speak with Maya again about her brothers death to see if she had any new information but when they got to the house, the house had a for sale sign in the front and neighbors said they moved shortly after the shooting.

Fortunately their grandmother's cell was still on, and Olivia left messages asking if she could bring her grand daughter in to speak more with them on the case.

So here Cecile was, Bringing her granddaughter to the station, trying to see what the police could possibly want now.

".. Yes I'm Cecile, this my granddaughter Maya. We here to see Detectives-"

"Carter and Torres right?" The officer at the receptionist desk finished her sentence, already getting the heads up they'd be stopping by that day.

"Yes."

"Follow me." She told the two ladies, flashing a smile to Maya who was fidgeting, clearly anxious as she tried to smile back.

The whole way there Maya was silent, not knowing what was going on and was scared to find out, but seeing as she had no choice since her grandmother made her come with, she was about to find out.

She'd hoped it was the detectives telling them they was finally able to arrest Kai, but she'd seen not one post or video about him being locked up so she knew that wasn't it.

Most likely they wanted to speak on the case once more, but that was the last thing Maya wanted to do.

She didn't even want to think about her brothers death, seeing as she was still reeling from it and heavily affected from the situation.

Maya still blamed herself for her brothers death, and at first she was mad, and wanted revenge.. but she soon realized all of it started from her jumping into a beef that wasn't hers, helping Niyah when she plotted to Jump Lani after the club.

She had to count the fact that she wasn't even friends with Shaniyah any more, and lost a brother behind her, which hurt.

Not only her but Cecile as well, as Jahsir was the one who paid the bills and kept a roof over their heads, moving them into a nice house.
