𝗔 𝗙𝗘𝗪 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥
Kaiyeer had just pulled up in front of his mothers house, turning off his car and hearing the light taps of rain hit his windshield as he sat in the silence.
He sat there for a minute trying to get his bearings and ran a hand down his face, subconsciously looking at himself in the mirror and noticing the bags under his eyes from lack of sleep.
Ever since the split with Milan he tried not to think about it as much, trying to stay busy with music and keep it off his mind- yet the task proved to be harder than said as the breakup seemed to be all he could think about.
It was messing with him to not have as much access to her any more as he once did or even just be able to call and talk to her whenever since she blocked him.
His friends told him to keep his head up, and that she'd come around soon but with the days passing by more and more his resolve was slipping.
That's another reason why he was seeing his mom today. Aside from dropping off some money to her, he wanted to talk to her about the situation and get her opinion on everything.
Taking his phone off the car charger, he put it in his pocket with his keys and grabbed the bag before getting out of his car.
He made his way up towards the front door and let himself inside with the key, hearing voices talking in the kitchen.
"Mami?" Kai called out.
"In here!"
Kai walked through the house, yawning slightly before turning the corner into the kitchen seeing his mom by the refrigerator grabbing some creamer for her coffee while his little sister had her phone to her ear.
He went over, going to hug them both when his younger sister spoke
"Papi guess who just walked through the door." She spoke, announcing Kai's presence since they was just talking about him before he came.
Kai looked over at his sister, resisting the urge to cuss her out for telling their father about his arrival.
Shaking his head, he hugged his mother next.
"Wassup ma."
"Hey mijo, you okay?"
Nodding, he held the bag out for her to take and she took it, leaving out the room momentarily to put the cash up.
"Kay papi wanna talk to you." Re held out the phone for him to take.
Kai didn't say anything at first, he just shook his head.
