Ntandokazi: Okay, I'm ready.

I looked up as she walked down the stairs and looked at her dress. She was wearing a black  dress, had tied her braids in to a bun and had make up on.

Me: Okay, masambe.

I grabbed the keys from the kitchen counter and turned back to her.

Her: Do you hear the symphonies?

Me: *laughs* Yes, I just fell in love with you and now I'm going to woo you until you fall in love with me.

Her: But wait, I have to play hard to get now but in a couple of months you'll be my reason for breathing.

Me: And then I'll break your heart and then apologize by standing in the rain and singing for you right?

Her: Yes!

We both laughed as we walked out, she's funny and smart and beautiful. I'm sure she would have made someone happy, unfortunately she's stuck with the ever so charming, me.
