"Gray, just take me home. The time doesn't matter," I argue.

"It's almost one in the morning, I'm sure Diana wouldn't be happy with you waking up Noah at this time," he remarks.

"Noah wakes up around two or three in the morning sometimes."

"Mhm."

"I actually do not want to meet your sub."

"She doesn't live in my penthouse, so you won't meet her."

"Wonderful, so you're cheating on her. Not surprised," I scoff.

"I'm not cheating on her," he states.

"Well you did when you were with me," I mumble.

"Repeat that again."

"You heard what I said."

"I didn't, so repeat what you just fucking said," he grit.

"Ugh, I said you did when we were a thing," I repeat.

"That's bullshit."

"Okay Grayson, can you just not take me back to mine?"

"No, I'm not talking to you about it anymore," he answers, angrily.

"Why do always have to be in charge of me?" I complain.

"Because you make dumb choices and act like a child."

"I don't act like a child, what the fuck," I scowl.

"Well stop acting like one half the time," he scoffs.

I kiss my teeth and decided not keep arguing. I don't get why he just feels the need to be in charge of me. I don't act like a child, honestly Gray can eat ass. I went on my phone and saw a text message from Devon. I replied to him and went on TikTok after. That's the only thing that could occupy me right now.

I texted Diana at one point hoping she would reply, but no answer. She probably fell asleep then. It wasn't long until we reached his apartment. We parked in the front of the entrance and I got out the car.

The air was really cold and I just wanted to get out of the cold. My feet were aching like one bitch and I wanted to take them off. I went inside without waiting for him, because he was freezing outside.

I looked at the receptionist person who looked at me. The security guy looked at me as well. They didn't say anything though. Gray walked in and said Hi to the receptionist. The engaged in a small conversation and he gave the guy his keys.

He nudged his head for me to go to the elevator and I did. I pressed the button and the elevator door opened. We stepped in and he pressed on his number. He put in a code and the elevator went up.

I looked in the mirror that was in elevator. I'm glad that I gained my weight back, because not to long ago I looked frail. I looked like I pushing death. I slightly glanced at Gray who kept his back towards the mirror. We haven't said a single thing to each other since inside the car.

I just kept looking at myself in the mirror and the dumb broken chain on my dress. I turned around a little to admire my ass. It was such a natural thing for me to do when I look in the mirror now.

I glance at Gray, but we had eye contact for a split second before he looked away. The rest of this night is going to be extremely awkward. We finally get to his floor and when the elevator opened.

All the lights were off with some dims ones, but the city light made it look nice. He turned on the lights and there were stairs leading upstairs. There was a living room when you enter and a kitchen further to the right.
