The venue was flooded with police and ambulances there were five bodies declared dead at the scene and ten taken to hospital. Nkosi made sure his wife got onto the first ambulance that arrived, everyone was shaken by what happened. It was bad and the Ndlovu men were set on finding out who was behind the incident.

At the hospital both the Ndlovu and Bhengu family were waiting impatiently on the doctor its been 5 hours, Ayanda was taken to surgery immediately. Phiwe went to find out what was going on from the nurses, while Ayanda's mom and sister sniffed and were still in shock with Mbali and Lerato trying to comfort them. Mandla and Kagiso, Nkosi's friend walked in
Mandla: There are police at the scene, five people have died.
Bab'Ndlovu: This is bad, umuntu owenze lento mele ajeziswe
Kagiso went to Nkosi, he's quiet and hasn't said anything to anyone since they arrived at the hospital. He was still in the same suit with his wife's blood on his hands.
Kagiso: Nja yam sizomthola lomuntu
He's quiet for a while and stares ahead
Nkosi: Ngifuna ikhanda lakhe
He says in a deep unbothered, serious tone.
Just then the doctor walks in, and everyone rises to their feet as they were given a separate waiting room so it's only their family.
Siyanda: Doc please tell me my sister's okay.
Doctor: Ayanda is stable, the bullet didn't do much damage to her however...
He's quickly interrupted by a nurse
Nurse: Doc I think she's waking up
Mam'Ndlovu: Siyabonga jehova!!
The doctor ran following the nurse and so did Nkosi
Mam'Ndlovu: Nkosinathi!!
Bab'Ndlovu: Leave him Sthandwa Sam
Mam'Ndlovu: I hope umakoti uzoba right Baba.
In the room, the doctor and Nkosi walk in, Ayanda seems to be regaining her consciousness slowly. The doctors try to stop Nkosi from coming in but he takes non of it and threatens the nurses, they eventually let him in mostly because they were petrified. Ayanda coughs and tries to sit up.
