GAZING INTO THE SOUL

Its been a day since they returned to Dwarika, Arjun was looking for a chance to confess his love to Savyasachi.

He was pacing back and forth in his room, thinking how he should do it, when Krishna entered his room.

"Pranipat Madhav." Arjun greeted.

"Pranipat Parth, I see you are caught in a dilemma." Krishna said.

"I don't know how do I confess my love to her, does she even feels the same ? I don't know." Arjun said.

"People eventually fall in love, at least let her know you do. And I am not saying this because I adore you, Savyasachi needs someone who loves her and will stay by her side forever." Krishna said.

"I want to stay by her side, but what if she doesn't want me to stay by my side ?" Arjun asked.

"Only Narayan knows." Krishna chuckled.

"How do I know if she likes me or not ?" Arjun asked.

"Eyes are the window to one's soul, if know her soul then you can also know her feelings." Krishna said.

"I see." Arjun nodded.

"Now I almost forgot to tell you, we are getting late for Holika dahan." Krishna said.

"Then let's go Madhav." Arjun said.

After Holika dahan, Krishna suggested all to sit on the terrace and gaze into the stars.

All the couples, Balram-Revati, Krishna-Rukmini, Vasudev-Devki-Rohini, Devesh-Dusshala sat together. Subhadra sat beside Madhavi purposefully leaving Savyasachi alone.

Sachi sighed realizing she was alone, she told her heart she didn't needed anyone's company to be happy. But deep down she knew she needed someone to eliminate the hopeless darkness of loneliness.

"May I sit with you ?" Someone asked, Sachi looked up and saw Arjun.

"Sure." She smiled and Arjun sat beside her.

Arjun looked at her as a smile appeared on his face, the stars of the night sky were nothing compared to the one sitting beside him.

"Beautiful." Arjun muttered.

"What ?" Savyasachi asked.

"The night sky, its beautiful." Arjun said.

"It is." Savyasachi said.

"You know its my favorite time of the day." Arjun said.

"Why ?" She asked.

"The world is more to my liking at night, not so loud, not so fast, not so crowded and much more mysterious." Arjun said.

"I never saw it in that way before. Now the night seems much more beautiful." Savyasachi said.

"You know what else is beautiful ?" Arjun asked.

"What ?" Savyasachi asked.

They both locked eyes and then Arjun tried to look into her soul as Krishna told. But what he saw in her eyes left him speechless.

He couldn't believe what he just saw, although it was too bright too comprehend what he saw it still was so divine that he felt scared.

He shuts his eyes close, putting his hands over his head. Few tears fell from his eyes for some reason.

"Arjun ? Arjun !?" Savyasachi shook him bringing Arjun out of his stance.

"Are you alright ?" Devesh asked.

Arjun looked up and saw all were gathered around him, looking at him worriedly.

"Bhrata Arjun say something." Dusshala asked.

"I-I..." He wasn't able to speak, his brain wasn't able to make words.

"Looks like Parth is having a splitting headache." Krishna said coming towards Arjun, making him stand up.

"Come Parth, I might just have a cure for it." Krishna said, supporting him while they walked away.

"What happened to him ?" Madhavi asked.

"I don't know, he was fine few moments ago and then......he looked incredibly scared all of a sudden for some reason." Savyasachi said.

"Like Bhrata Krishna said Kumar Arjun must have had a splitting headache, happens sometimes." Subhadra said.
