DECISION

Draupadi was taking a stroll in royal garden, after a long time her heart felt a sense of satisfaction.

Seeing how happy Nakul was, she got the feeling of paramanad. There was not an ounce of sadness on her face because of their wedding.

Suddenly Nakul and Madhavi approached her.

"Arya Nakul ? Madhavi you both here ?" Draupadi asked.

"We have made a decision." Madhavi said.

"About what ?" Draupadi asked.

"Going to Indraprasth." Nakul said.

"Yeah, I had to tell you this only. If its fine by you then we can head back to Indraprasth tomorrow." Draupadi said.

"Not possible." Madhavi said.

"No problems then tell me when you feel comfortable to leave." Draupadi said.

"Never." Madhavi said.

"What do you mean ?" Draupadi asked.

"Jiji, you have sacrificed a lot for us. Because of you Arya Nakul married me. Although I love him very much, I will not stay with him in Indraprasth." Madhavi said.

"Why ?" Draupadi said.

"Because Indraprasth is for you and your husbands. And I don't want Arya Nakul to break your promise for my sake." Madhavi said.

"Madhavi you love him so much, do you even know what you are saying ?" Draupadi asked.

"You too love Arya Nakul, and I don't want to build my paradise on the shatters of your oath." Madhavi said smiling.

"You didn't have to." Draupadi said as few tears fell from her eyes.

"Draupadi, Madhavi is my wife and so are you. I will not give her the paradise at your stake, I cannot." Nakul said wiping her tears.

"Consider this as our thank you gesture." Madhavi said.

Draupadi looked at Madhavi and gave her smile as she engulfed her into a hug. Nakul chuckled seeing both his wives like this and not in a rivalry.

Arjun was meditating under a tree when suddenly and eagle came towards him with a message.

He instantly came to know that Nakul must've sent it to him. He took the message from the eagle's feet and a smile appeared on his face reading the news of Nakul and Madhavi's wedding.

"I expected no less from Panchali. So good that Nakul finally became one with Madhavi." Arjun muttered.

"I wish our relationship was also this easy, Savyasachi, where I could just hold you in my arms forever." Arjun muttered looking at the moon.

"But I guess it never will be and that is where the specialty of our relationship lies. Its beautifully complicated." Arjun smiled.

Let me tell you an something interesting....

Krishna had 8 main wives, but Rukmini and Satyabhama are shown in most of literary works as his two chief queens, because their rivalry attracts poets, writers, painters etc.

So Rukmini although being a princess is shown as the poor wife because she eloped with Krishna and didn't give him any gifts or dowry (remember at that time dowry wasn't evil like today).

And Satyabhama came from a very rich background and at that time the yadavas didn't accept Krishna and Balram as one of them. They were like 'who are these cowherds that claim to be one of us, they are so uncultured and unrefined.'

So yes Krishna wasn't respected in the Yadav community, he had no status here. That's why Satrajit also easily accused him of theft.

But when Krishna married Satyabhama, he got so much wealth in dowry. He also became the Jamai of Yadavas, and got so much respect. Thus Satyabhama is regarded as the rich wife.

From Rukmini Krishna got love and from Satyabhama Krishna got wealth, authority and status among the yadavas.

Thus there was always a conflict between Rukmini and Satyabhama about who is more important, the wife who gave him love or the wife who gave him status in the society.

So the whole rivalry between them is would you rather be loved or be respected.

In the southern parts of India especially in Andhra Pradesh, the stories of Krishna's Dampatya jeevan in Dwarika are very famous, while northern parts stories of Radha-Krishna are more famous.
