Chapter 2

"Take it" I demand.

She ignores me.

"Please?" I ask with a softer tone.

She sighs, "fine"

I smile as she grabs it out of my hand.

I take a seat on the ground next to her and begin to eat the spaghetti.

Half way through I see her looking at my food.

"You want some?"

She quickly looks up at me and shakes her head, "no that's yours"

"It's fine, really"

She looks hesitant.

I get some of the food on the fork and lift it up to her mouth.

She slowly leans down and takes a bite.

"It's good" she mumbles.

"You want the rest?"

"Won't you be hungry?"

"Nah it's all good, I'm kinda full"

Kai carefully takes it out of my hands and begins eating it.

"So...what are you doing after school?"

She stops.

Like literally freezes.

Weird.

"Um...nothing much"

"Well then I guess you wouldn't mind coming over to mine?"

"Wait what?"

"Mhm, I'm not doing anything"

"Wo-won't your mum or dad mind?"

I smile, "no...my mums will not mind"

Her eyes widen.

"Shit sorry, I-I shouldn't have assu-"

"It's fine" I cut her off with a slight chuckle.

She flushes a bright crimson red as she says, "yeah, I guess I could come over"

She looks so cute when blushing.

Now that I'm actually up close to her I can take in her features better.

She has slight freckles on her nose and cheeks, her lips are plump and a pretty pink colour, her sharp jawline and her cheekbones, she has dark circles but she still looks hot, even a few scars here and there, or even her gorgeous grey eyes that sparkle in the light.

She's beautiful...

Too bad she's always wearing the same hoodie to cover her face.

"What?" I hear her ask softly.

Breaking out of my trance I clear my throat, "nothing"

-End of school day-

"Hey" I smile waking up to Kai.

"Hi" she mumbles.

"Well um, I came to school on my skateboard today so we can walk...?"

"You skate?"

I nod as we start walking.

"What about you?"

"What do you mean what about me?"

"I mean...do you have any hobbies?"

"Not really"

"Surely there's something you enjoy?"
