on posies first birthday & jacks 27th birthday, i surprised him with a positive pregnancy test!

and nine months later we welcomed baby girl, daisy carolina hughes, into the family.

2 under 2 was not what we had planned, but having daughters is everything jacks ever wanted. including dressing him up for tea parties, he loves everything about being a girl dad!

now its 2 years later, posie is 4 and daisy is 2, nearly 3.

and my baby bump is very big!

i got up from bed and rushed to the bathroom, only making it like 5 feet from the toilet before stopping from a contraction and then a flow of water down my legs.

"jack?" i said softly, not wanting to wake the girls up.

he read them a bedtime story about 30 minutes ago.

i leaned on the counter, crying.

"jack?"

"jack?" i said louder.

he came running in.

"where are you?"

"call luke or someone." i said.

"why-oh!" he said, realizing the situation we are in.

"am i calling an ambulance too?"

"please, but call luke first."

i waddled to the bedroom and grabbed my phone, calling sunny.

she picked up on the second ring.

"hey girl."

"can luke come over. like now, please." i said, in pain.

"were on our way." she said.

"thank you." i said and hung up.

"fuck ass isnt picking up." jack cussed, walking into the bedroom.

"the babies coming, i called sunny. call an ambulance because im about to have this baby at the house."

his eyes went wide, "ill take you now."

"no, the girls are asleep and i wont leave them here-"

he was already on the phone with help.

"they're on their way."

i walked out to the dining room, wanting to be farther from the girls room, i dont want to wake them.

"what can i do?"

"i need you to catch the baby." i said.

i stripped of my shorts and underwear.

shit, lukes going to see me like this.

"the babies coming jack."

jack helped support my weight, wrapped an arm just above my stomach while i took deep breaths and pushed.

"jack." i cried.
