How can I breathe and taste the breeze?

While the hands  I reached were strangling me, in a sunny day,

How can trust be built when the branch I trusted once broke and let me fall to drawn, in a windy day

How eyes can seek when sadness and sorrow blinds them with such dexterity,

How can I love, when all I see  in the mirror is a repulsive reflection that echos hideously,

How can I care about myself, when all I was taught is to only please, a setting was always put on repeat,

As dark as this poem May seems, i once swallowed it as a harmless poison that awakened me, because

I only learned to deeply breath and taste the breeze when the hand I reached once suffocated me,

I learned how to trust the right ones only when I fell down from a trusted tree,

My eyes cleared and saw my inner beauty, only when my eyes thought one day that what they see is a reflection of a hideous scene,

And I learned how to take care of myself when I knew that caring for others destroyed the soul's sparkly dreams.

i just learned to ask, is this the only way to live!

i just learned to ask, is this the only way to live!
