"I still can't believe that you lied about the whole bodyguard thing." I said. "Yeah-yeah I'm sorry about th-" Vermont stopped and suddenly took a step back while clutching the side of his stomach. "Chérie es-tu ok?!" I said, shocked. "Wait, what?" He glances around. "I-I think I was sent back about 2 minutes." I look at him puzzled. "Look, you see that hooded figure?" He points to some random guy. "He's about to open fire in about a minute. Now we need to go. Ok?" He said. I nod, and we start running. I know about fight or flight and all but we probably should te-

Distant gunfire went off as we continued running. "Told 'ya so." He said, strikingly calmly, while pulling us into a mens room. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN TOLD YA SO?! THAT GUY JUST OPENED FIRE ON A BUNCH OF PEOPLE!" I whisper-screamed at him. "Look, even though people will die and get injured, this is for the best." "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN IT'S FOR THE BEST?!" "There was someone in that crowd that would kill us. Now calm the fuck down." I then proceed to try to calm down, to moderate success. "Ok. Now is the rest of this trip going to be normal?" I asked. "Yes, most likely." He said, and I breathed the biggest sigh of relief in the history of sighs of relief.
