"So, the email from Kirsty, the, uh, missing luminous rabbit."

"Oh, God, we aren't still going on about this?" Beth moaned from the passenger seat, resting her head on her palm, her arm was being supported by the window.

"Kirsty Stapleton, whose mother specialises in genetic manipulation."

"She made her daughter's rabbit glow in the dark?"

"Probably a fluorescent gene removed and spliced into the specimen. Simple enough these days."

"So..." John trailed.

"So we know that Doctor Stapleton performs secret genetic experiments on animals. The question is: has she been working on something deadlier than a rabbit?"

"You think that she genetically made a monstrous hound?"

"That's exactly what I think."

Arriving at Henry Knight's rather large, expensive looking house the three walked through a green house and Sherlock pressed the doorbell to the back door. Seconds later Henry had opened the door with a smile.

"Hi."

"Hi." Beth smiled politely.

"Come in, come in." Henry moved to the side so the three could enter.

"This is, uh. Are you, um...rich?" John asked stealing glances around the house's large interior.

"Yeah." Henry nodded casually walking off into another room making Beth follow.

"Would you like some tea?" Henry offered as the trio sat at the large island in the kitchen.

Beth and Sherlock nodded.

"I'll have a coffee if you don't mind." John said, "So, Henry. How are you?"

"Oh, I've been fine." Henry nodded, handing Sherlock and Beth their teas, both putting in a lump of sugar, "It's just... I keep seeing these words." He then handed John his own mug, "It's-it's a couple of words. It's what I keep seeing. 'Liberty'"

"Liberty." John confirmed, writing the word onto his note pad.

"'Liberty' and 'in.' It's just that."

"Mean anything to you?" John questioned, turning to Sherlock.

"Liberty in death, isn't that the expression? The only true freedom."

"What now, then?" Henry asked.

"Sherlock's got a plan." Beth offered, taking a sip of her tea.

"Yes." Sherlock smiled.

"Right."

"We take you back out onto the moor."

"Okay..."

"And see if anything attacks you."

"What?!" Both John and Beth said together.

"That should bring things to a head."

"At night? You want me to go out there at night?"

"That's your plan?" John said loudly, "Brilliant."

"Got any better ideas?"

"That's not a plan."

"Listen, if there is a monster out there, John, there's only one thing to do: find out where it lives."
