Upon arriving back at their lair, Splinter immediately headed for the dojo.

He'd claimed that he would be resting, and everyone kept quiet.

The five teens and cat didn't know what it was like to have someone else in their minds, controlling their actions (And they were very thankful for that), but all six brings agreed that it was safe to assume that it would be rather draining.

Diamond checked her phone, finding that she had a reply to both messages she'd sent earlier.

I'm good, but that whole thing was scary af! (Sent at 10:56 p.m)

Diamond exhaled slowly and sent a short reply to Cathy.

Thet's good O_o Seeya at work tomorrow. (Sent at 11:24 p.m)

She then moved on to April's.

Everyone is okay, and no more rats anywhere. I can't sense any. Heading home now (Sent at 10:51 p.m)

Once again, she sent a short reply.

Great. See you tomorrow! (Sent at 11:25 p.m)

The elemental teenager proceeded to turn her phone off, before shoving it into a pocket.

"That was crazy," Michelangelo said, sitting down heavily on the beanbag.

"You think?" Raphael said.

Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael sat down in the couch pit. Diamond created a circle of stone, sat down on it, and hovered in the middle of the couch pit on it.

"Hopefully that's actually the last time we have to deal with him," Leonardo commented.

That was met with several murmurs of agreement.

"Fighting the small rats in the streets with Cathy last time was bad enough," Diamond said. "Facing him was worse. I do not want to do that again."

"Try facing him twice," Raphael retorted.

Diamond raised an eyebrow, raising her hands half-heartedly in a mock surrender. "Wasn't saying we were worse off! Chirupiru o motte iki nasai, sā!" (Translation: Take a chill pill, dammit!)

Leonardo opened his mouth to speak again, glancing at Diamond for a split second, but Donatello cut him off before he could even begin, not noticing that he was going to speaking.

"Umm, Diamond has some news to share, actually," He said.

Everyone's gaze snapped to her. Diamond laughed nervously. "Oh yeah," She said. "I forgot about that."

"Forgot about what, dudette?" Michelangelo asked, leaning forward a little, towards her floating circle of stone.

"Donatello made a little discovery," She started. "He took different samples of my DNA to track down the source of my powers."

Everyone was listening by then.

"And it turns out... I'm actually a mutant too," she said. There was a moment of silence while the information registered with the youngest and two eldest turtles before Leonardo spoke up.

"You're a mutant?" He asked. "Mutagen gave you powers!?"

Donatello nodded. "Precisely."

"What about retro-mutagen?" Raphael asked, an unexpected flicker of genuine concern appearing faintly in his eyes.

"Donatello says it won't affect me," Diamond said, with a glance in said turtle's direction. "At least, not permanently... basically, he said that my powers would be reduced in strength for a few days while they recovered, and then they'd be how they were again."
