I woke up with a banging headache as I tried to remember what actually happened. I sat up and looked beside me and the bed was empty. I checked the time on my phone and it was almost 2pm. I groaned. Why is my head banging. Oh God I just want to pull my hair out. I wasn't in my apartment it was pretty obvious. I was in Ralph's place. I walked into the bathroom and began cleaning up. My throat felt so dry and it felt like I was having a hangover.

Well I'm actually having a hangover

When I was done, I walked out of the room into the sitting room and heard the commotion going on in the kitchen.

I should kill whoever is hitting those pots and plates. Jesus can't they cook peacefully?

I walked into the kitchen and saw Chizi cooking and Ralph helping her.

Or should I say trying to help. He's definitely the person fighting with the pots

"Can you guys not be noisy? It's difficult trying not to cut my head off already" I whined as I took a seat at the counter

"At least when next I say don't drink, you should listen to me" Chizi replied

"I don't even know what ya talking bout. What actually happened yesterday? What exactly did I drink?" I asked

"Bitch I don't know what you drank. I know you kept asking the bar tender for more and you kept trying to jump Ralph's bones" Chizi replied making my eyes go wide

"Jesus Christ. Please tell me she's lying" I was already panicking

"Unfortunately she's not. But Chizi we agreed not to tell her" Ralph replied

"Boy I don't know what you are saying. You had that agreement with yourself coz I didn't say I was keeping it a secret. She should know what her stupid ass did when she was drunk" Chizi rolled her eyes

"At least you should have waited a bit. She just woke up" Ralph grumbled

"Abeg. Make we hear word jhoor (please let us hear). She's not the first person to get drunk and it's not her first time getting drunk. Well just that she didn't k—" Ralph's hand went over Chizi's mouth immediately

"What did I do?" I asked not sure I actually wanted to know

"Nothing" Ralph replied and Chizi hit him making him yelp and remove his hand from her mouth

"You just kept blabbing about how you needed to apologise to Johnson for hurting him and how you would be single for the rest of your life" Chizi smiled as if it was quite the sight and I groaned

"Just kill me already" I put my head on the counter

"Don't worry. We have all done one embarrassing thing when we got drunk okay?" Ralph replied as he put a drug in my palm and placed a glass of water in front of me. "For your headache"

I think he was trying to calm me down

"I actually don't care anymore. I'm hungry" I stated then took the drug.

I nearly vomited. I hate drugs.

"Food is almost done and I'll be leaving immediately." Chizi spoke making me look at her

"Why?" I asked frowning a little

"I came because he" she pointed at Ralph "begged me to come cook for you because he can't cook and he didn't want you to eat out when you wake up" Chizi answered

"Shey it's miri oku ji (yam pepper soup) that you cooked?" I asked excited and she laughed

"Yes. Mummy has been asking about you. She said she came to your place and you weren't there so you should come visit. I haven't told her where you have been for the past week though" Chizi replied and stared pointedly at me
