I rolled out of bed and walked into my bathroom with a sigh. I promised myself that I would tell Ralph that I love him but I was scared. For three good months I realized my feelings for him and I haven't told him. Three months is a long time for his feelings towards me to change.
What if he doesn't love me anymore.
I sigh and put the toothpaste on my toothbrush and start brushing my teeth. Anytime I try to tell him, I get scared and chicken out.
Maybe I should tell him today? No. Today is too soon. I need to prepare. I'll tell him tomorrow. No, maybe next week. Oh God. Why am I so scared? See what I'm talking about?
My phone rang but I ignored it and finish my clean up then walked back into my room, I wore a black booty short and a big shirt, then tie the shirt in front. I pick up my phone and check whose call I missed. I quickly called Chizi back.
"Hey girl. Where are you?" She asks
"At home" I answer and walk out of my room into my kitchen
"Good. Coz I'm bout to pull up on you" she replied
"You coming alone?" I asked
"Naah. Maria is with me" Chizi answered
"Good. Coz I need you girls" I stated
"Five minutes" Maria yelled and I smiled
"Girl don't you dare shout in my ear again or I will end you" Chizi threatened Maria and I smiled
"I'll be waiting" I replied and she ended the call.
I quickly ate a bowl of cereal and waited in the sitting room for the girls as I watched Mtv base. A knock came. I rushed to the door and opened the door. When they came in, I pulled them into a group hug.
"What's the problem? This one you are hugging us from the door? Ogini zi? (What is it?)" Chizi asks
"Can't I miss my friends?" I ask
"Stop lying abeg" Maria replied
"Come and sit down jhoor" I frowned a little and walk to the sitting room and sit down
"Food. Do you have any food?" Chizi asks
"No" I reply
"Jesus. What type of a person are you?" She asks
"Thought you started cooking for Iyke? Why didn't you eat at home?" I ask
"Whatever" she replied
"So how is wedding preparations coming for the two of you?" I ask
"Just kill me" Maria screamed
"I swear" Chizi replied and I burst out laughing
Maria has done her traditional wedding and was preparing for her white wedding. We had an appointment next week to fit her dress. Chizi on the other hand just had her introduction two weeks ago and her traditional wedding was coming up in a month.
"Eyaaa. You girls should endure okay?" I smiled
"At least we are going through it once not like someone here" Chizi replied making us laugh
We had started making jokes about me almost marrying Johnson. The girls endlessly tease me about it.
"At least I know what I'm expecting now" I grumble.
"Oh well, lucky you" Maria says sarcastically
"Idiot" I lightly beat her hand.
"Ouch. That is painful ooo" she screamed
