This period flim is one I have recently watched. Although it was not as good as 'Potrait of a Lady on Fire' or 'Summerland', it was still a good film.
The acting is authentic and the chemistry between the actresses is amazing which makes the scenes more sensual.
But since the film takes place in the 1800s they have to sneak around their husbands to have an affair.
Unlike other films I usually watch this one is a tragedy and angsty but I would say it's still worth a watch.
