It's your typical light-hearted Christmas rom com. It portrays some cliche storylines which overlap each other a little and one of them is a lesbian story.
I wouldn't say that the one with the lesbians was my favourite part of the since Kerry was really mean to Dorrie in the start and I got second hand embarrassment when she was humiliated in front of all the people.
Though they kissed and got together in the end, it didn't feel satisfactory to me. I would have liked if they had added a little more fluff to the story cause I felt a little bored after a while.
It felt like they had the opportunity to focus more on the gays but missed it. I also would have liked if they would given the backstory about the tinfoil lady and not kept it a mystery.
But overall I liked the transitions between the stories and all the actors gave decent performances. So if you want a warm feel-good movie without much plot, this is the one for you.
