This is one of the few films with sapphics in it where the lesbians are not decipted as the predators and are not just a minor role who dies but rather the whole story is centred around the queers.
Our main couple go to stay at a Gay B&B which is empty cause the previous gay couple were killed but they don't find it strange at all.
Our monsters i.e the main villain of the film isn't mythical but are actually homophobic militant serial killers targeting the queers visiting the Gay B&B.
The movie may have all the cliche horror movie tropes which makes it predictable but it's still enjoyable. It's also exciting to see lesbians placed in a situation where we are usually used to seeing straight couples.
I also love that despite it being a horror movie our gays manage to survive after fighting their way against the fate of death while also solving their relationship issues which was the reason for the trip in first place.
