[Author's POV]

All Arima could see was the only darkness when she regained back her senses. The first thing she felt was the pain in her head whose reason she still does not remember.

Making herself sit on the place where she was lying first, she opened her eyes to see her surroundings totally unfamiliar.

She was lying on the sofa which was placed inside the unknown living room, which she first time witnessed.

Panic rose in her heart as she tried to remember what happened before she lost her senses, then she remembered everything that happened.

She ran behind the accidental purse stealer, which lead her to the alley, and then she met that unknown guy whose eyes were... black?

Firstly she did not believe that she saw his eyes pure black. She assumed it to be her only hallucination.

But, she surely believed that that guy was not a good one. The only thing that was important for her was to go back home and forgot this day.

She got up from the sofa and looked around to find some way that can lead her outside. Finding the first door that came into her view, she took her steps towards it.

"Going somewhere, human?" A loud and dark voice that came from behind her made her flinch badly.

Her whole body was frozen in fear which she was feeling by the darkness in the voice of the man.

Turning her body towards the direction of the voice, she found someone sitting near the fireplace with a glass in his hand.

She first got more confused as she did not see him there before when she looked around to find the way outside.

"I... I'm sorry, but... who are y-you...?" Gathering some courage she asked the unknown man who still had not shown his face.

She then saw that man putting the glass on the table in front of him and stood up turning around showing his face to her.

The shock and fear rose in her heart seeing the same man who was brutally choking the purse stealer in the alley.

His cold and dark black eyes were directly gazing at her emerald ones which were covered in fear. He took slow steps coming towards her making her heartbeat rise.

"Forget me and you. Tell me what were you doing in that alley chasing that guy." That unknown man snapped in a cold and serious tone.

Arima started to take her steps back when she felt him coming more closer to her more than the comfortable distance between them.

"Answer me!" That man spoke in a loud tone making her flinch.

"I... I was..." She could not find any words out of fear of the man standing in front of her.
