"How did it go?" I asked Jace

"He tried to understand it, but it might take him time." He replied

"How about you?" he asked and sat beside me

"I've confirmed my speculation about Chelsea and for their safety, they'll be staying in the estate with White and Avellaneda." I answered

"I'll tell your butler to prepare the plane, you should rest." He said

"I'm not tired." I said

"Just rest." He replied and took out his phone

"I want to talk to the guys." I said

"They're in Ethan's room." He replied so I stood up and went out of the room

I went to Ethan's room and knocked on the door. Jaxith opened the door for me.

"Lav, may kailangan ka?" Icarus asked when he saw me

"I want to talk to the three of you, Bryle, Ethan, Elijah." I said sternly

"What is it, Lavalee?" Bryle asked and I sighed

"You are aware of what Irene, Jess, Chelsea and I are, am I right?" I asked and they nodded

"You have the same background as us, Bryle, so I don't really need to explain this but it'll be different for the two of you, Ethan and Elijah." I said looking at the three of them

"For sure, you're wondering why can't we just leave this world." I said

"It's not as easy as you think. They've given you both a brief orientation but believe me things are much more complicated and twisted." I said looking at the two alternately

"Bakit? Bakit hindi madali?" Elijah asked

"The Blood Council currently has seventeen Council Members; Ayazaki, Hanazono, Archangel, Hiroshima, Kirigaya, Amano, Lim, Lee, Mendoza, Valdemore, Kitagawa, Buenaventura, Valdez, Rivera, Lopez, Imperial, and Santiago, Jess is the sole heiress of the Collins, Irene is the representative of the Mendoza and Chelsea is the sole heiress of the Lim meaning if one of the three of them is to be assassinated, it's the end for the family line they represent unless a close relative of theirs steps in. That is why the four of us is being targeted." I said

"And if we decide to quit? Not only will we be put in trouble but the whole Blood council as well since our number cannot diminish due to a council member's resignation, the seat the quitter will leave will be occupied by someone else and that will be dangerous as the lower council are under observation and trial and if they were to claim a seat in the council then they were proven guilty they can no longer be punished." I explained

"To secure an heir under the underground matrimony is the best and safest way of securing our families safety." I added

"Bakit kailangan namin magresign?" Ethan asked

"Fifth blood rule." Bryle answered

"Association or relation to the Law and those that implement it is punishable by death once all three warnings are received. Anyone who initiated such association or relation will receive fifteen lashes." Jaxith added

"Which reminds me, Lavalee helped you two to court Chelsea and Irene, which means she broke the rule hence receiving thirty lashes." Icarus said
