VIOLETA stood there not knowing what to say.

"Answer me!" Can said impatiently.

"You're not supposed to be here," Violeta said wanting to avoid this conversation.

"You led me on! I thought we had something?!?" Can said and grabbed her arm to make her turn towards her.

Violeta wanted to let go, but she couldn't.

"I didn't lead you on!" Violeta said looking anywhere but Can.

"I thought you liked me! I liked you!" Can said and pulled her closer.

Violeta looked at him with shocked.

"You like me?" Violeta asked with hopefulness.

"Liked. Past tense," Can said. He didn't like that he said that.

Violeta face changed. She looked down and stepped back.

"You should go," Violeta fiddle with her fingers.

"You didn't answer my question," Can said.

"There's nothing to explain," Violeta shrugged.

"There is. First you skipped school to see me then we kissed which to you seems like it was nothing," Can explained while using his arms to express what he's saying.

"It was something to me!" Violeta was tired of him saying something it's not true.

"Yeah it meant I wasn't good enough for you so you went with him," Can scoffed and pointed to the door.

"It felt like someone actually cared for me and showed me the affection I wanted. To know that someone likes me back! To know how it's like to have a first crush!" Violeta explained.
