THE HEIR TO THE THRONE

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AT UWC (FIRST YEAR)

IN THE UNITED KINGDOM 

Kate: hi, you must be the new girl, nice to meet you, my name is Catherine Middleton  but you can call me Kate if you want 

I: hi kate, it's a pleasure to meet you, i'm leonor

Kate: wait.....are you the famous princess of spain?

I: yeah that's me but i don't know if i'm that famous

Kate: of course you are, my family is a big fan of all the royal families around europe

I: well, but please i  don't you to treat me differently, youare the first person who spoke to me today 

Kate: sure, i'll try oh i almost  forgot, we have to go to the presentation room

I:why?

Kate: the headmater wants to give  a speech at the beginning of the year, you know it's not every year that you have three young royals and future monarchs at your school

WHILE FROM AFAR 

William: so it's her, the famous princess that everyone talks about

Fergus: hey william what are you looking at? or should i say who are you looking at?

William: what?

Fergus: oh well, i thought it was over with kate, especially after everything that happened

William: yeah, in fact it ended up with kate

Fergus: so why are looking at her direction? please don't tell me you are looking at the girl she's talking to..... wait a second.... no that i look at her better, she's very pretty

William: of course she is, she is princess leonor of spain, the oldest daughter of King felipe and Queen letizia of spain, the heir to the spanish throne, she arrived here yesterday afternoon

Fergus: you know she looks a lot like princess elizabeth of belgium, wasn't she supposed to arrive too?

William: yeah, i think she will arrive in the evening 

Fergus: damn, we have to go to the presentation room because the headmaster wants to give a speech at the beginning of the year

AT THE PRESENTATION ROOM 

Headmaster: hello to all the students, first of all i want to wish you a good school year, then as you know this year we have the honor of having with us, the grandson of Queen elisabeth and Prince philip, son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana of wales, prince william of wales, the grandaughter of former queen Sofia and former king Juan Carlos, daughter of King felipe and Queen letizia of spain, princess leonor of spain and the grandaughter  of former king Albert and former queen Paola, daughter of King philippe  and Queen mathilde, princess elizabeth of belgium. They will regularly attend the lessons and all the projects in which we all will parecipate and then at the end of the years, they will graduate like all of you, there will be no special treatments, to enter this college they had to take a test and they passed it brilliantly, thank you for your attention, you're free to go now 

IN THE COMMON GARDEN 

Kate: hey, do you already have a roommate?

I: actually no

Kate: well you're lucky, from today we will be roommates

I: yeah, good 

Kate: oh no 

I: what's wrong?

Kate: don't look, why is william coming here?

I: who is it ?

Kate: hi william, can we help you?

William: hi kate, i wanted to introduce myself to your new friend, my name is william

I: nice to meet you, i'm leonor

Kate: now if you excuse us william, we have to go 

William: sure, bye girls

Fergus: how did it go?

William: as i imagined, kate dragged her away, but don't worry i won't give up 

Fergus: it will be fun 

IN THE DORMITORY

Kate: this is our room, do you like it?

I: it's a litttle old but it's okay

Kate: you're right

I: do you live here in england?

Kate: yes, in the berkshire but i transferred within college, why did you come to study here?

I: my parents advised me that it would be better to study outside spain and i would say that they were right

Kate: do you stay here for the holidays or do you go home?

I: no, i have to go home, sometimes even when there are lessons, being the heir to the throne has its cons 

Kate: it must be diffficult

I: yeah, i was wondering if there was something between you and william?

Kate: no, there is nothing between us or rather there was, a few years ago, we were dating  and everything was fine but then things got complicated with the press, the media, the photographers and my family, so we broke up in a bad way

I: what do you mean?

Kate: the photographers followed me wherever i went, even outside the house, my family was scared  to go out after what happened with william's mother princess diana, they lurked outside the house all night and we couldn't sleep, i was worried and nervous since i hadn't slept for three days,then  i called william  and i told him that it was over and he needed to get out of my life and so he did

I: i'm sorry kate,i didn't know.....i didn't want to....

Kate: no, it's okay you couldn't have known, i mean we're friends now

I: yeah,  we're friends
