Dylan and Bradley were on their horses, on the way to the market. They passed by the grape yards, the cornfields and they also went past the flour mills. Bradley looked in the direction of the mills and stopped his horse by pulling the reins. Looking at Bradley stop his horse, Dylan too pulled the reins and his black hair came all over his eyes. He gently combed his hair with his hand and said,

"Brad, why did you stop?"

Bradley immediately pointed his finger towards a maiden who was dressed in white. She was hustling in the afternoon sun near the mills and she was familiar to them.
Dylan said,

"Should we really talk to her now?"

Bradley didn't utter a word and just got down from his horse and went towards the maiden. Dylan rolled his eyes and went along with Bradley. He saw her and said,
"Hey there, Anna!"

Her amber eyes turned towards Bradley and she said,
"Nice to see you, Bradley!"

Bradley saw that she was carrying two huge buckets of flour and said,
"You need help with that?"

"No, it's fine. Thanks for asking"

Anna then held both the buckets while Bradley went back to his horse. Dylan too was going to sit on the horse while Bradley had already started and the horse was running really fast. When Dylan took a glance at Anna before he got onto the horse, he saw that her hands had turned red as she carried the heavy buckets. Anna started to walk and Dylan quickly tied his horse to a tree and quickly went behind Anna. From the back, he held the bucket that she held in one of her hand, making contact with her gentle fingers. He said,

"May I?"

She turned back and said,

"They are too heavy, sire"

"Perhaps that's one reason I am offering help"

He took one of the buckets and walked along with her. They walked through the entire path together without speaking a single word and they stopped at the doorstep of a small dwelling nearby the market. The house was in faded white colour and its roof was painted brown and the wooden doors weren't as polished as the royal ones, of course. Anna put down the bucket and knocked on the door. An old woman opened it and Anna said,

"Anna"

The old woman saw the buckets and said,
"Dear, why did you bring them? I would have gone to the mill later"

"Your hands aren't strong enough to carry them, mother"

Saying this, Anna took both the buckets and placed it in the house of the old women. She went out and the old woman said,

"Thanks a lot, Anna dear"

Anna smiled and the old woman looked at Dylan next to her. She didn't recognise that he was the Prince as her vision over the years had become blur. She could only recognise Anna as she saw her at the mill. She said,

"You both make an elegant pair! How many children do both of you have?"

Anna looked at Dylan in an embarrassed manner and took a step away from Dylan and said,

"We aren't married. We make a leave then"

Anna and Dylan quickly walked away from there and Dylan said,
"Doesn't she know you?"

"Not properly"

"Then why did you help her with the buckets?"

"You don't have to know a person to help them and moreover, she is old and she couldn't have carried such a heavy load"
